My wife got zero interest in gaming and my 3 year old interested in swiping cartoon reels or playing in children's park. Solo gamer in my small family.
Well?
I am the only member of my family to continue enjoying playing games and I am approaching 50 years old. My younger brother used to when he was younger, but lost interest by his early twenties.
I am the only one in my family who games regularly and keeps up with gaming culture.
My sons, who are college age, are not into gaming the same way. My eldest loves Zelda and plays every game that releases multiple times through. He plays no other single player games. He used to play fortnite but grew out of it. He plays no mobile games either.
My younger son has never enjoyed single player games and only plays mobile games.
My wife would burn the industry down if given the chance....
20 years married... Awww😘
lol no one.
I'm hoping to get my niece and nephew on some educational, fun PC games (Kerbal Space Program, Cities: Skylines, etc) but my sister is pretty strict with their screen time.
My Mom is a BIG gamer. She is obsessed with Conan Exiles, Enshrouded, and No Mans Sky currently (and she is in her mid 70s).
My Brother is a video game designer (he worked on Diablo 3, Wow, and League of Legends before going indie founding a gamers charity and has 3 games up on steam with really cool game in development!)
My boyfriend plays Madden and 2K (basketball), and Call of duty....EPIC FAIL XD. (I am thinking about getting a new man as his taste in video games are just HORRIBLE!!!)
Being in a gamer family is very fun. We even have a family discord that we game on. It is very cool.
My wife would burn the industry down if given the chance....
Same :(
We played trials HD once... For like 10 seconds.... She immediately gassed the bike and fell off... Screamed "This isn't even reeeeaaal!" and threw the controller at me....
It was such a nice birthday gift to spend that time gaming with her 😂
My wife enjoys a few games (Diablo and Hogwarts Legacy) but for the most part it's just me in my household that plays games. My son isn't at the age yet to play since he's 3 but I can't wait for him to start. I refuse to let him do any mobile games since I want to keep ipads/phones out of his hands for as long as humanly possible.

HaHa i remember buying PS 4 to play together after marriage , few moments later she was like boring, what enjoyment you get by playing games ? During COVID she was even more pissed as i was at home playing all day lol.
My wife only plays mobile games on her iPhone. She never played a console in her life, just mobile and digital devices (not even handhelds) is all she knows. My oldest daughter plays her gaming PC we build together. And yes, I make sure she stays on school task before gaming. My youngest daughter hasn't started playing but I personally hope she doesn't as I wasn't trying to turn my family into a gaming family but I guess my DNA genes carries my gaming enthusiasm, so yeah, I know it's coming😅
My brother is a gamer like me, we play single player games mainly.
My son plays Roblox and Hot Wheels Unleashed. Other games don't interest him.
My brother and his sons play PS5 and Series S mainly Call of Duty BLOPS 6 and Fortnite. I tried getting my older niece into Sonic Generations she was like 4 years old though had to help her play the game as she didn't how to play. She mainly plays on her tablet and is 9 years old. I have a younger niece who plays Switch like Mario Kart 9 and Smash Brothers as well as her tablet. I have played against my nephews on NBA 2K23 and they absolutely beat me bad. I don't know if my brother's wife plays but know his ex wife did play Borderlands and Fortnite.
I have some cousins literally on the other side of the world in New Zealand who game, otherwise, no one.
my two brothers both gamed a bit when younger but neither kept it up
Immediate family, just my siblings and I. My sister games the least, but she'll make an exception for certain games. She loves Dynasty Warriors. She loved playing Fighting Force, Fable, Grand Theft Auto, Friday the 13th, and Super Smash Bros. Though I guess she kind of grew out of it. Though she's still very much into nerd culture, because she loves anime.
My brothers are Sony gamers, but one of them also has a PC. My oldest brother is into RPGs and shooters. My younger brother plays RPGs, shooters, sports, RTS games, and he'll play my Switch as well.
My mom and dad used to be gamers. Both were arcade gamers, and my dad had an Atari (very old school). They don't really game anymore. I guess they grew out of it.
Extended family. A lot of them. Some are more stereotypical and just play Madden, NBA2k, GTA, and a few popular shooters. A lot of my female family members are into Nintendo. My little cousins owned a 3DS. My cousin used to play Sonic with her boyfriend, which shocked me. She's a hoodrat, so I didn't think she'd be into video games. A lot of my aunts and uncles were gamers.
