I dont know about any of you but Im really nervous. The moments before I click on the gameplay vid when its released next month at GDC will be so nerve racking. So many thoughts will be going through my head. Such thoughts as "Will I be blown away by this footage" or "will it exceed or match the trailer shown" or " as a loyal cow, if this game looks really bad, will i be able to show myself again in System wars" lol I hope sony realizes the magnitude of this game, The hype for this game is just as big as the PS3 itself IT HAS TO DELIVER OR SONY WILL DIE! If this game looks the least bit disappointing when they show it next month, it could mean the end for sony, their life depends on Killzone looking great next month. Lets cross our fingers and hope

You see thats not the point though, its the fact that the company hasnt made a AAA game, its the principal that there is so much hype surronding this game and with all the negative sony news lately, this could make or break sony if this game delivers or not.
The ps3 has far more interesting titles coming to it than killzone. I don't know why that game is so hyped. What about MGS 4, Heavenly Sword, FF 13, etc?

I think this could only make or break Guerilla, not Sony. If this game tanks then Sony will probably just get rid of Guerilla, and quite frankly I could care less what happens to Guerilla.
I'm more excited than nervous. If it actually turns out good this time instead of a Killzone and Shellshock style monstrosity, I will have another good game for my soon to own PS3.

It's do or die. I hope it succeeds though. I want Microsoft to have competition. I don't like everything that Sony has done lately, but I want them to do better then they are doing at the time being.

I agree. I didn't mean that the reviews themselves made the games sell well, more that the reviews are generally a good incadator that a game will do well.

You, my friend, need to get up from your computer, walk to the door, go outside (put on some dark sunglasses first or I'm guessing the sun will really hurt your eyes) and take a walk. Breathe in the fresh air, play with a dog, flirt with a pretty girl. Go to the library and get a really good book to read in the park, or go for a bike ride. Maybe find a tai chi group you could join. White-water rafting could help, or rockclimbing even. Perhaps a long vacation to the Bahamas, Europe, or the Far East. Have some fun, laugh, fall in love, GET A LIFE!
Dude Sony's life doesn't depend on this FPS Sony's machine isn't know for being the FPS System... Yes, they have a lot of preassure, but Halo 3 has a lot more of preassure
Nervous!!?? I'd be excited if anything to see how they've improved the game.
Nervous would only happen if SOLEY desired for this game to be what every game desires to be, PERFECT, but have this lingering thought of it turning out to be another 6.9, or worse.

You can make as big as a list as you want of upcoming PS3 titles, but they are either unproven franchises or not huge to begin with in the states.

Where have you been???? All the Sony news has been positive lately. Their survival is not related to KZ2 in the least bit... they have too many blockbuster titles coming out this year to be dependent on any one game.... as any strong console should.
Plus, they didn't show any KZ footage last year at GDC (for the public) and I doubt they will this year.
