Who else thinks Fable 3 is being very rushed for 2010?

Its been about a year and a few months since Fable 2 released, you think the game will be better?

I think the devs should pull it out in 2011 :X

Considering Fable 1 came out in 2004, then Fable 2 in 2008, and Fable 3 in 2010...idk

well if after 4 years of development all they could come up with was fable 2, then yes this one is most certainly rushed.

its the new craze didnt you learn from L4D2.

if peope have only 1 year to enjoy the game its been far to long for the sequel to come out.

For a game that's supposed to be so big, I was really surprised to see a sequel so soon.

They should be taking their time to improve the game.

Fable isnt being rushed because its graphics engine isnt that good, the game could be made in a matter of months.

I've enjoyed fable 1 and 2 immensely I will likely enjoy fable 3.

A game can be garbage to me and score 8.5 or it can be brilliant and score 8.5.

GameSpot's 2009 GOTY scored a 9.0, not the highest score for the year.

And again GameRankings has HR>Fable II, contradicting your review aggregator and making your entire point even more insubstantial anyway.

Considering that Fable 3 seems to be using the same graphics engine, two years sounds about right. I just hope they overhaul the combat engine as it was complete garbage. And add meaningful interaction instead farting and sock puppets. Heck for that matter, I'd just like Lionhead to actually deliver this epic adventure they keep promising and never deliver on.

Maybe if Molyneux had his mouth taped shut and the game came out say next generation, then it might've been a big step up from the previous ones. However, it is all too apparent that it will not be fleshed out as it could be.

It's a pity, because the series has lot of potential.

and for thos who hate fable il say this its not THE best RPG but its defenetly one of the best you wish other RPG had the ageing system like Fable where you get older as you level up and time go by

If they're smart they will completely change everything about the game. Fable 2 was crap. They'll fire that Peter molyneux, and hire someone who understands what makes a good game
