I have to say that I'm kind of bummed about about the electricity thing as your main power. I was originally under the impression that you'd basically choose you main super power and have a power tree and expand on that by competing missions or leveling up. It was either that or more of a you don't have any real super powers, maybe just some interesting abilities.
It should make for an interesting game though. Open world crime fighting pretty much.

I kind of agree with u that it wouldve been better if they had different like super powers we can use but at the same time to me, this is a new super hero, "Sucker Punch" has come up with and a good example is if im playing a game like spiderman, then I expect him to use his basic powers which is using webs. It would make no sense if they made a spiderman game and instead of using webs they had u create your own powers but you are spiderman. U see what I mean. It just wouldnt feel right.
What makes me excited about this game is that it is like GTA4 where u can just go anywhere but beyond it because u can also climb buildings and stuff and not just because of that but just for the fact that u start off as this hero with powers that doesnt know how to use his powers but then as u go on in the game and try an either help the innocent out or play the roll as a bad guy u will unlock and learn different things u can do with your powers. I love these type games.
Also another thing that sounds awesome is that lets say u have a mission u have to do. But while u are going to accomplish that mission there could be an innocent person that needs your help and u have a choice of just leaving that person there to die or u can go on and accomplish your mission, of course if u are a villian u prolly will kill those innocent people or just leave them there to die but if u are a good hero, of course u will try an find a way to save that person and also accomplish your mission. These things got me real excited for this game and not only because of that but also for the fact that it is being developed by, "Sucker Punch" the devs who brang us, "Sly Cooper which is awesome and we know, Sucker Punch will not dissappoint. Lets just say these guys are just like Insomniac. I really think Infamous ill be an awesome game and will catch alot of peoples attention when it releases. :)
