Personally i think the PS3 had a better 2008 but not by much.

By metacritic they are pretty even. But by innovation... I'd still give the nod to the PS3. LBG, MGS4, and Valkyria Chronicles are incredibly unique.

Im sorry but we been over the dicussion that downloadble games that are 10 or 15 bucks can't compare to A FULL VALUE GAME that is 60 bucks. That why the ps3 wins if you take it out.

They both had a great year. I really need to get a ps3. Im having a blast with my 360 but its gotta be sweet to own both systems.

You're missing some games , go back and take another look.

You listed 3 or 4 arcade titles as if they weigh as much as those other retail games, and put one non exclusive in the 360 list. PS3 had the better "System Wars" year, ofc maybe some people hated all those games and loved gears making them prefer the 360. I liked the PS3 lineup more by a fair bit.

I didn't intend for the arcade titles to weight as much as the full retail games. But i think people looking at the list will know what's download and whats not and make thier own choice. It looks as if this is the case because the majority of people including myself beleived ps3 had a slightly better year. But i do still think that download games should be mentioned. Ask anyone who's gotten into geometry wars will tell you you can sink as much time into it as any retail game.

And btw sorry for missing some games ill go back and look.

You are forgetting many other PS3 and 360 exclusives by the way.

With those percentages that youve listed the 360 wins. Plus 360 10 games. PS3 9.LOXO7
