Who has more money..Blizzard or Nintendo or Bungie

nintendo - hardware sales and software sales....but R+D and marketing cost money

blizzard - millions of players + monthly subscriptions + south korea....but servers cost money

Bungie - millions of copies...plus paycheck from M$....plus download contect 10 bucks a pop..

This is a pretty bad comparison, considering that Bungie and Blizzard are purely software companies, while Nintendo does both software and hardware.

Here's some food for thought though. It was recently reported that Blizzard had revenues in excess of $1.5 BILLION this year. Bungie can't touch that, even with their $170 million initial sales. Both are probably still less than Nintendo, but it's not too shabby for a company riding one game (in both cases).

Hey well to be fair Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft 2 probably sold a bit (just a joke, WoW is just plain ridiculous).

But to answer the question, Nintendo.

I am pretty sure Blizzard has a higher revenue then any other single independent developer. Which particulary impressive since they only make a full game once every several years.

But its not gonna match nintendo, which owns 2 seperate platforms, and makes a lot of games for them every year.

Nintendo obviously makes more on their DS and Wii sales than Bungie or Blizzard could ever hope to. Blizzard makes more than Bungie because it's games sell more (Warcraft, Diablo, SC) and because WoW provides sustained amounts of revenue.

Wow has a lot of cost behind it. All that bandwith must cost a hell of a lot of money. Multi million dollar server farms. Constant hardware updates/Maintenance to cope with increasing straindue to ever increasing number of players.Thoes conent patches dont just magically pop up either, programers have to get paid.

Why would you even put Bungie on a list? I'm sure they're rich by developer standards but it's the publisher that gets the big bucks. Nintendo is obviously the richest..... But Blizzard has for sure made the most money per game of any company ever. They've made what 7 games total not including expansions?
