Happy voting.

What an original thread. We definitely don't see this every week...
about as original as your comment................
This should be.
How much better is the Xbone controller.
The PS4 controller is an upgrade on the DS3 that's about the only credit it can be given.

wich is why the xbox copied sony and put a headphone jack in their controller. Does xbox have touchpad. And why are the dpad buttons connected to eachother instead of being individual.
They are both good controllers.
I don't like changing the batteries, the wonky bumpers (360 ftw), and crappy dpad (very obvious when playing 2D indies/fighters) on the Xbone controller.
I don't like the lower battery life of the DS4 in comparison to the DS3 (I understand why but it doesn't mean I like it), but I did employ some remedies with the settings.
Ultimately though, both controllers are a godsend for a gamer like me who grew up with Atari, Intellivision and later NES non-ergonomic controllers.
I wonder how many people are voting for one controller while never actually gamed with the other controller lol.
The Xbox controller by far. The Xbox controller is more comfortable to hold, has better analog sticks both in terms of build quality and position, has better triggers, has better battery life, and doesn't have an annoying light that you can't turn off.
The PS4 controller is definitely a big improvement over the crappy PS3 controller, but compared to Xbox controllers, it is still very inferior. The only advantage the PS4 controller has over the Xbox controller is a better d-pad.
We have had this poll about 317 times. Every one the Xbox One controller wins by a landslide. This thread found nothing new.
I have ps4 and xbox one. I prefer the xbox one controller enough that I will buy multiplat games for the one even if they look better on the ps4. I'm trying to go back and play the uncharted collection right now and I cannot stand the sticks on the playstation 4 controller. They are better than the ps3 but the placement still feels off despite playing on ps2/3 all these years. Also the batteries die super fast on ps4. I guess the one doesn't have rechargeable batteries but I have this nyko thing that charges 2 batteries and they last a long time.

I agree with your points, but why do you think the analog sticks have better placement being offset?
@Bigboi500: it always felt like the sticks we're too close together on Ps controllers to me
That's a good point. I never really gave it much thought before, but our right thumb probably spends more time with the face buttons than right stick, and that makes things more even.
@Bigboi500:
Because when I grip a Xbox controller, my thumb naturally rests over the left analog stick and this is ideal because for the majority of games, I have to keep my thumb on the left analog stick 95% of the time and only occasionally do I have to reach out to the d-pad for a second, so for the majority of the game, my thumb is in it's natural, neutral position.
When I grip a PS4 controller, however, my thumb naturally rests over the d-pad, but since I need to use the left analog stick 95% of the time, this means that I have to stretch my thumb away from its natural resting position and keep it like that for most of the game which is awkward and leads to fatigue and sometimes cramping during long gaming sessions.
I discovered a beautiful thing called rechargeable batteries in 2005 and since then I've had no problems in taking two seconds to replace the batteries that last 30+ hours. If anyone honestly thinks the PS4 eight hour battery life is better than that then you are a deluded fanboy.
Xbox AA-batteries in 2015 lol
Battery life of 5 hours in 2015, lol
Only 5hrs? you gotta buy a big battery pack for your xbox then:P
Lol, xbox one controller easily gets to 30 hours
The Xbox One controller would be perfect if the bumpers weren't a deal breaker and if they didn't fill in that contour at the top. As it stands right now, it is merely very good, and a step down from Xbox 360.
It is a better controller than DualShock 4- I guess I am just too used to DS4 now, which is why I have trouble adjusting to the Xbox One controller.
