Who has the worst software lineup?

Wii by far!

It might not appear to be so due to sales, but it's the truth.

Its ashame that Nintendo can never live up on it's promisises. I remember hearing about no more droughts and great 3rd party support. All lies!

There was a massive drought before Mario Galaxy and there is a massive drought after it. No more hero's is only a good game if you own a wii only. If you own a 360 it's mediocre at best.

I own a wii and would like to see it succeed but it's just pathetic right now. I'm playing games on it that are 6 months and older. I'm tired of mario galaxy and I have not even beaten it yet.

The Wii has way too much shovelware, it has the worst library.

All the 1st party games are amazing though, and even some 3rdp arty like No More Heroes.....but when you take all games into account, overall its dissapointing.

People have different opinions and I dont think a strong minded person cares that 40% of the people dont like the same games they do.

However, i really dont see any upcoming games for the wii besides SSBB, Mario Kart and Tales that seem to be good.

The 360 has NG2, Banjo 3, Resident Evil 5, Fable 2, Alan Wake, and so many more games.

Wii:

Wii has a ton of junk nobody would/should buy. I don't think that makes it's software lineup any worse it just means there's no quality standard on wii so you can't pick up just any random title. Nintendo as far as developers makes great products, but they are highly overrated, and aimed at a narrow market. I love nintendo games, but I'm never going to expect the next GOW-esque title to come from nintendo. Their 3rd party is getting better w/ a strong showing of the RE series and the stylish No More Heroes. The worst thing about the wii is you're gonna get watered down versions of major multipats if you get them at all. Don't expect a decent multiplat Oblivion, COD4, or Bioshock type game on the wii.

PS3:

The ps3 is better when it comes to high profile multiplats than the wii, but then again you're better off buying the 360 version. As far as first party games are conserned Nintendo is better, but Sony does have some gems. When it comes to 3rd party exclusives Sony has a great history, but that seems to no longer be the case anymore. Most 3rd party developers are jumping ship for the 360 leaving MGS4, and FF13 which wouldn't suprise to many of us if they ended up losing. The only positive talk we hear about the ps3's lineup is for the future which has always ended up dissapointing for the ps3.

If you're a typical gamer who's only going to own 1 system next gen, and can only choose between the ps3 and wii. Then you'll probably enjoy the high profile multiplats on ps3 more. If you already own a pc/360, and are now choosing between a ps3 or wii, then you're better off getting the wii.

Apparently in terms of review scores, it's only 5% behind the 360, including all the shovelware

Thats exactly my point really, theres not that many good games for it. However, if that is truly Pikmin- we've got the best game in the wii's library still.

I dont like saying X company's secret project. I mention it, but never include it on a list

Well if you discount exclusives then Wii, but as a console PS3 since if you're a hardcore gamer you are going to have more then one platform.

i suggest playing it at a friends house first and if you like it buy it. I know why traditional RPG fans would dislike the first one but for what it wa doing it did it good.

even though some of these games will come out sooner than many announced game, we know nothing about them and they'r enot officially announced so therefore I do not include them

I know what you mean with the unannounced projects, I just thought I'd mention it because they're always something to look foward to. I normally list Nintendos secret project though because IGN have seen the game and have said it's definitely gonna be huge.

As for the other games not looking good, I have to strongly disagree. Baroque, Opoona and Fragile are starting to look like promising RPGs. The Fatal Frame series has always been great, and the pics look fantastic. Boom Blox looks interesting. I watched a vid of Rygar the other day, as I never heard of it before and it's looking great as well. etc.

i would have to say the wii, its just a party machine when people are over drinking and partying.
