why not play a game instead of being on here than?
I don't remember having too much hatred towards OoT's water level.

Same here.
TP's though...was almost like a deliberate attempt at confusion and frustration, and that didn't even have to do with the water.
But for the most part, water levels: Just say no.
I hate Super Mario Sunsh....oh wait...lonewolf604
There was only one water level in Sunshine. :P Guess it didn't suck that much though.
I love them.

Maybe he reached the water levels in every game he owns.
I hate water levels... Sonic in particular. So tough, I usually gave up on Sonic 3 after the first level just because I hated the water level that much. Mario's were slightly better but overall annoying because you can't jump on enemies.kayn83
Sheesh! I agree. You have to go to those stinking bubbles to get air if you are too far away from the surface of the water. I remember waiting for a bubble to come just so I would have some air built up. I waited....waited...then the beeping noise came in. Bubbles would come but they were small. Then the countdown started. So I jump around the place where the bubbles come from, but it does no good! 3...2...1...drown!
It really depends how it's done, but it's rarely done well...
I just played MGS2: Sons of Liberty.. it had a water swimming part to it... Pretty annoying. rexCo
The problem with that part is that we are so used to inverted controls with swimming that it messes with our brains. Also, the camera is way too close to Raiden. And his breath runs out quick. I'm actually in that area right now in the game.
I have yet to see a water level I can enjoy. Ever. Especially with most platformers, just look at Mario, both the 2D and 3D ones. The water mechanics are horribly annoying. The inability to jump in the 2D ones and the near complete loss of mobility in the 3D ones are what get to me.glitchgeeman
I think that the water levels from the Spyro series on the PS1 were done pretty well. Galaxy's water levels were good in my opinion. But even those can be frustrating.

One thing I didn't like about Galaxy's water levels was when you were being targeted by Bullet Bills. It is such a hassle getting them off your tail when you're under water.
