I got a friend who bought a PS3 with inheritance money. Got UT3, Uncharted, Resistance, and some other game (Maybe Rachet and Clank). but he rarely plays it because he says the games are "All show, no go."

Thats whyI waited and bought one this Sunday. 600 scoops. The good exclusives will come. Get Turok and that will last you till Army of Two and Haze, the first real Next Gen (Current Gen now I guess) PS3 Game. Then Killzone, Resistance 2,and MGS4 will come out along with others. No games for the PS3 really appealed to me except for Resistance. Now that the good games are commin' things will start to look bright for the PS.
I play my PS3 every day, whether it be to play UT3, AC, a PS2 game or, more recently, a PSone game. The PSN store with demos and such keep me busy as well.
Go purchase a new game or, if that is too much money for you, go rent a game or two. There are plenty of games are on the system, and if you don't have a 360 there are a lot of good games, both exclusives and multiplats, on the console.

If you feel you want to sell your PS3, confront your dad and tell him what your problem is. The PS3 has no games that you want to play since a lot of the multiplat games are on your PC, but you want a 360. If it was a gift from Christmas, I can see why your dad wouldn't let you sell it because he wants you to be happy with what you got him and respect his decision for the gift.
But if you sit him down and talk with him, I'm sure you can sell it since you are dead set on there being no games to play for the PS3.

Oh no, I've been here for a few years, not doing much posting but reading what is there to be said. And there have been stupid things said that end up being funny, but I thought that reason you gave wasn't even close to comical if you were trying to be.

Oblivion and Assassins Creed were better on the PS3. Most multiplats now are exactly the same.
