Well I have a Wii and DS, and love Mario / Zelda, so I guess I am a Nintendo supporter..... though I wish they were less concerned with casuals and more concerned about me and my tastes. I hope next gen they change focus a bit, but I highly doubt it, now that they've seen the $$$, they'll never go back most likely.

By supporter, do you mean someone who buys their products, or someone who cries and screams every time someone doesn't declare their love for the company?

(I'm assuming the former, which I would be, I just wanna be sure. :D)

I am a Nintendo supporter. I am glad about all the success they are having because I was concerned a poor effort this gen might end their console-making days. I do not like how the Wii has become home for all the Casualware crap, though.

I am. I even owned/supported GCN during last gen. I don't have a GCN anymore, but I want a Wii since it can play both GCN and Wii games.

well im no fan of any of them , i give them each props for things done well and they also dismay me at times,

for example sony this gen , ,

seams to out of touch with good games, dont bring up resistance or motorstorm i dont want to hear it,

when i mean greats i mean games i knew in the ps2/1 era

and only 2 of them made it out and 1 demo like game ,-gt5 prolog,

the getaway is canned,

socom is multiplayer only unlike previous installments,

then theres microsoft whos made a quality console with amazing game last gen , to making a unreliable system with good games

nintendo , the gc era was very slow in deed, i feel cheated, mariokart dd wasnt as good as n64 no good goldeneye like game that was exclsuvie sure timesplitters fits the bill but when i own it for ps2 and xbox it dont really matter,

today is the nintendo i want to see from now on , ,

inventing new things, while keeping the old,

somthing sony should have done this gen

cant say much of handhelds, -they always been the same for me , at least, ds i was an improvment , ,

its ds 1.5 it was the ds that should have came day one,

but patience paid off,

then the psp well its a good system , ,not what i expect-at least its fairing better then the ps3

the sega and atari consoles were great for their time,

each of them made 1 or 2 mistakes,

if you cant admiot that then you know what you are,

i dont have to tell you,

but ya i own all 3 and 2 handhelds ,..(3 if i include what i call ds 1.5)

and like them for what they are, sure ill say somthing when theres somthing wrong and i want fixed l but thats about it ,

sales doesnt really mean anything to me, ill continue to enjoy owning all the consoles i can , ,but ill state the facts when needed , ,

for example some one claims wii will fall behind, or ps3 will not catch up thats when i state the facts, bash if you will ive playedm any games this gen ,

and many from before ,, i dont need no one to tell me what kind of gamer i am go ahead try to claim im, a nin fan or ms or sony fan go ahead i dc ,

my collection speaks louder then words, sure 09 is wii year so far for me because i havent picked but 1 ps3 game and 3 360 games so far ,

ive picked up like 7 wii games and 4 ds games (includes the 2 free games i downloaded off shop channel) and a bunch of classic games for ps1 n64 etc ,,

speaking of which ffcc was really good- echos of time, the tiny screen did irritate me for a while but nothing beats a good action rpg, (funny as it sounds, i m not that fond of rpgs and i said that)

but that was really fun , , just running up to somthing and slash the heck out oif it, , ffcc on gc was more stealthy , , felling to it , so i really didnt get into it,

so ya , im a pure gamer, play what i like regardless of what console it endsw up on , ,

and like i said long time ago , every one is gonna make thier mistake .

theyy better be able to rebound from it though, like nintendo has, twice lol, first was the vb, they rebounded to a nice 2nd place finish and 1st place obviously with the handhelds, thats what i call a rebound, if they are able to still get up , , and make a console ,

thats a step in the right direction ,

why sega made one to many mistakes is beyond me

it makes sense you dont fix whats not brokem or try to extend it /prolong it , they did that with genesis thus giving saturn a short life and sega dc even though these are good or ok consoles , , the short life,

theyve all run their life even though they did not sell xxx units ,,, ,

This gen I dont like nintendos business plan. They only relesed 3 1st party games I actually like. I support the 3rd parties on wii. WIth games like madworld,NMH and zack and wiki.

I've supported Nintendo handhelds since I was 5 and always loved SNES (but my parents would not get me one when I was a little kid).. This is the first time, however, that I have gone with a Nintendo console. I enjoy it a lot. It's the first time my girlfriend and I have played games together, and it's a blast.

As game developers Nintendo is second to none in my book. Now hardware... that's a different story.

I have a DS and Gamecube, so I guess. But I don't want a Wii.

I am. Ninty has always lived and died by the AA-Game of the Year/Classic games in their core franchises. They still do to this day. Ninty hasn't had good 3rd party support since the SNES and they've never been the home of hyper-violent games. I don't know where people are getting the idea that the Wii somehow created these situations.

You buy Nintendo cuz you love Mario, Starfox, Zelda, Metroid and all the games and spin-offs that have them. Ninty hasn't disappointed on that end this gen with the exception of Star Fox... not becuase Star Fox Wii sucks, but because it doesn't exist yet.

I support their handhelds the most though because they aren't consistently dominating them with their own franchises, so you see a lot of other great games emerge :)
