So Dirt comes out next Tues.....then Ratchet and Clank....then a couple of weeks later UC4.

It wasn't even that I needed the space...I mean I did, but I sat there looking at the tab on my PS4 thinking "it's been months since I played this". Started it up and did one mission and felt nothing.

So I deleted it.

i just don't feel anything for that game anymore.

just wondering if anyone here still plays or do you know others that still do or have most of your friends moved on.

Stopped playing it a month or two after launch. Finished the first story arch and quickly got fed up with the Gear grind. Way way WAY too little content to carry that game like it needed to be.

How they charged anyone for expansions is beyond comprehension. I'm probably never buying a Bungie game ever again after that.

Isn't its DLC very praise worthy? Taken King? Personally never played it but i noticed many praising its DLC for better loot, content and challenge :)

@indzman: its dlc killed an already shallow game. Most people that praised the DLC were the casuals that played it for 15h, had a decent time and moved on. That "expansion" didn't expand the game for shit. In fact, it made it worst with its light level grind and making all content but what's available in the expansion irrelevant. Destiny's expansion and Guild Wars 2 expansion are the worst expansions i've purchased in over half a decade. Simply atrocious.

Thanks for clearing it up.

@mr_huggles_dog: I deleted it to replace with Batman Arkham Knight. Destiny feels like it just gets harder and harder to find reasons to play it. Before, I would do a mission here and there then leave it alone for a few weeks. But it never looks like my progress goes anywhere! Is this what mmorpg gamers deal with?

@killered3: No, but depends how long you play and which MMORPG. You should be progressing a new gear peice and a level or two everyday. It should take you 3-7 days to get a new armor set. Which should last you depending on how good you hunted, 3-90 days. You should be playing the game 2-6 hours a day.

@indzman: I personally loved the Taken King. It was a pretty cool campaign and there were plenty of missions to play. My only gripe was that it reminded us of how stupid the story really is. I don't know why but I seriously hate the the spiritual sci-fi theme going on. I could've sworn Bungie had better writers.

@iandizion713: Destiny was pretty much like that but I guess it didn't translate well being a 1st person shooter. I always wanted to get into an mmorpg but there's too many to pick and I don't know enough to pick the best one.

@killered3: Ive mainly done WoW and a few after. Guild Wars 2 is newest MMORPG ive played, but not long enough with it to remember the grind.

WoW was balanced good, you always felt like you were making progress and plenty of end game.

as you've mentioned in your previous post, you played a mission here in there and then leave for a week. This is what i referred to "casual" play and most people that did play The Taken Wallet casually had a decent/good time. But when you play the game every day because you enjoy it enough to play every day, The Taken Wallet was the worst that could happen.

Nobody I know plays anymore. Game was dookie.

And to think Bungie used to make the best shooters on consoles, and by an incredibly huge margin. RIP.

@indzman:

The DLC completely made the game better and I wasn't a casual to the game at all. I beat all the raids on normal and hard and grind to get as much exotics as I could but I did stop playing the game a few months ago so don't listen to thing like only casuals thought the gamesame dlc made the game better, that's just false. There's still a lot of people playing it, hell I still have a few friends that play it but with The Division out now and their raid coming up I don't see how much longer the community will stay.

I don't play it often, but I picked it up last week for a session and played for a number of hours with a friend who is still into the game last night.

Still working my way through the "Story" missions and strikes. Never done a raid. Just got my first exotic last night. Still learning a bunch.

Garbo game, how far have you fallen Bungie? And they're already working on Destiny 2.

I bought the Legendary Edition or what is it. Comes with all the DLC. Played a bit, and realized I don't wanna play Destiny anymore.

I played the Destiny Beta for an hour, uninstalled and haven't had even a slight tinge of desire to go back to the game.

I was expecting a strong, story-driven experience. I got Borderlands-Meets-Halo-Meets-WoW.

It got so much shit talked about it that I never gave it a chance. A shame really, because I'm a sucker for loot based grinders like Diablo 3.

Yup. I fire it up occasionally. A helluva lot more than KZSF LOL and I cant trust someone who put 500 hours into a game he claims to hate.

I recently platinumed the game and have been playing regularly since mid-February. Mechanically, Destiny is top-notch. It suffers from design flaws at multiple levels, but what it does right is a unique experience that other games have yet to emulate. It could be much better, but it's still good.

@indzman: the DLC is nothing special.

The first 2 were practically worthless and all TTK did that ppl liked was rework the light system.

It still didn't add much story wise.

All said and done....the pathetic DLCs is what made me lose interest in this game. I feel I was screwed.

Been dabbling a bit before The Division released. But mostly playing The Division recently. Destiny does some things good, pisses me off the various modes that have fireteam only and offer no matchmaking. And their focus to force people to PvP when I just wanna PvE.

Also, been hating The Taken as a race, the game feels less sci-fi more supernatural now, Taken are way too macabre, hive was odd enough. Game needs more Fallen, Vex, and Cabal focus.

@lamprey263: I agree. The Cabal are the most interesting of the bunch yet they focus twice out of 3 on the Hive.

I only bought it for the multiplayer (I buy most games because of it). I was disappointed with the way it felt.

I only bought it because my friend kept bugging me about it, got it and then we(more like he) finished the Taken King in less that 3hrs. I didn't find it interesting.

@mr_huggles_dog: For real. They are wasting so much untapped potential on the most unremarkable race in the game. Going to war with Cabal would be pretty interesting.

The game is amazing...it just doesn't have enough content to keep people interested. So yeah I played the game for hundreds of hours (which is amazing for any videogame) but why play it now when the grind isn't worth it at all. Before the grind was worth it running through Vault of Glass, Crota's end, and even prison of elders (for a bit). Right now its Pvp centered and going from light level 319 to 320 is nigh impossible and doesn't even do much. I'll go back to it if there is fun PvE stuff to grind that actually progresses my character.

I am very interested in what Bungie puts out next year for the Destiny sequel.

Never played it and some friends that did, stoped around November.
