Im just curious if a lot of people plan on buying a PS3 once killzone 2 hits. If this game gets good reviews across the board and even scores a 9.5 here, anyone plan on buying a PS3 for this game when it comes out?! oh and dont say its "Crazy" to buy a console for one game.. I bought a 360 in 06 back when Gears came out, im not ashamed to say one game made me want to buy a 360 ofcourse i also bought a lot of other great titles for my 360 also but Gears was the game that made me really want a 360. I already own a PS3 so ill be picking up Killzone 2 on day one.. Im just wondering if anyone that is still on the fence about the PS3, will decide to buy one if Killzone 2 does really really well.
Don't get it just for Killzone 2, but Killzone 2, MGS4, LBP, Uncharted, and Infamous (which comes out soon after Killzone 2). 2009 will be epic.angry_fork

If game scores well (which im bit sceptical about) than it will be one more REASON to own PS3,but i will not buy it just because of KZ2,and even if it scores well price is still just too high
IMO,for this price,PS3 needs @ least 5 top quality EXCLUSIVE games to justify its purchase,so far it have only 3 and again,IMO its not worth its price (considering that i dont care about blue ray or multiplats which i play on pc)
Price drop + few more top quality excluseive games =ps3 sold to me (and many oher ppl)

M$ marketing at its best...do the math, the 160 isn't any cheaper when all thing are considered.
160= $200
HDD= $100
Online= $50 per year....then you still have nothing more then just a game console.
You dont need those things - thats why they sell it seperate You dont need it - dont take it Simple as that PS3 forces you to buy things you dont need

My games on expensive Blue-ray disks cost $60, you games on cheap DVD cost $60...
When did I say anything about the 360? It doesn't change the fact that the PS3 is an expensive piece of hardware. And FYI I don't know what you're talking about with 'your' games, because I don't even own an Xbox 360 :?.
Not me, after all it's still just an FPS (true a really good looking one - but still just an FPS) and i have loads of them already (360/PC), the PS3 simply doesn't have enough games i really like to justify a purchase just yet.
Yeah i already have one along side my X360... but about 3 of my friends are thinking of trading in their consoles to get a PS3 with KZ2 and MGS4...i don't blame them i'd do the same:P
If anyone buys a PS3 for Killzone 2 its safe to safe they NEVER played Killzone 1.
Any sane person, not blinded by fanboy loyalty, will be waiting till the scores come in for the finished version, regardless of how demos and betas play, before they even think of buying Killzone 2.
There's still plenty of time for it to go all pear shaped.
I have a PS3....and the main reasons I got it was 1. exclusive games 2. reliable hardware (you need something to play when the red rings come) and then 3.bluray . IN that order.

Lol. Anyway, I could understand why a game like MGS4 alone can make people want to get a PS3, because MGS is a solid series, but Killzone is not. So Killzone 2 really has so much pressure to exceed expectation by scoring a 9.5 on numerous sites and sell a million wordwide within 24 hours, and have a huge advertisement campaign, anything to generate enough buzz so people outside these forums can finally find the PS3 more attractive to purchase.
