I will not be supporting the next one, I have a feeling Activision will destroy the franchise.

Didn't vote, as there is no "Maybe". I dunno tbh. I liked MW2, if MW3 gets good reviews/more importantly my friends buy it, i try it and I like it, then yes I will buy it. Doesnt matter who was the devs.
But no, it isn't a day 1 buy for me. not that MW2 was either.
by the time MW3 will be coming out, Diablo 3 will either already be out or on the way out
so no... i won't even know the game's even coming out
and even then, i'll probably still be playing Halo: Reach to care
Not me. Infinity Ward has been dead to me since 2007.
I'm only interested in Black Ops because 1. Treyarch is a good developer, and 2. Vietnam missions.
Haven't bought one since 2 anyway. Just because they keep getting worse and worse. Still love 2 though.

Hell no. After firing Jason, Vince, Francesco, and Todd, I won't touch another Activision game.

Why should we care who they fire? so long they can make good/fun games they can fire whoever they want...
Gee, if you fire top execs at:
You wont see a drop in quality?
who cares about the execs? did you know them personally? hell, them leaving is probably a good thing. MW2 is terrible.

It would be necessary to play the next game to know that.[QUOTE="aroxx_ab"]

I don't care who makes the game, if the reviews say the game is worth getting and if I'm in the mood to get camped to death then yes I'll get it!

They wanted to leave anyways.
can't blame them, they left EA and started Infinity Ward in the first place because they wanted more creative freedom...
oh the irony of it all
The only Activisiongames I'm interested in are Transformers: War for Cybertron and Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions.
They'll probably screw up both but they look like they have some potential so far.
It all depends on what is going to be featured in the game . You can't just say that MW3 will suck a** just because MW2 sucked a** . MAYBE this time , they might listen to us , fix whats wrong with the previous game , tweak it a little bit , make the SP campaign mind-blowing and make the multi-player more balanced . But if MW3 is just a rehash of MW2 with a couple of extra guns , maps and an okay looking SP , I wouldn't buy it . Maybe if IW put in an extra game mode .. Like zombies perhaps ? ;)

But the thing is is IW wanted to leave and take Call of Duty with them. Probably to EA.
Activision didn't like that, so they fired them, and now all these gamers go around proclaiming how bad Activision is and how they'll never support them again because of what they did to poor ole West/Zampella!
People are so oblivious to how business works on this board. Anything Activision does is bad, and morally wrong when in reality everything thing they do is what any large business should do.

Well if you run a company you fire people for a reason...
nope not for that reason
for MW2 being the one of the biggest rip offs in gaming history?
yep not buying it for that reason alone

not according to news sources which said that West and Zampella were developing a new IP and shopping it around, it sounds like to me that they didn't want to have anything to do with Call of Duty anymore and Infinity Ward had been caged-in as COD-only, much like they left EA after they didn't want to have anything to do with Medal of Honor anymore
also stuff like this has happened before regarding Activision, it was Activision afterall that dropped Brutal Legend, then sued Tim Schafer when he went to EA
either way, nobody likes working for Activision, and their product lineup over the last few years says why
If its from Activision, then no. But if they win the suit and get control of MW, I might consider it if they can put in the time to make a great game and not continue milking the series.

They fired the two heads and the multiplayer director. There is going to be a lost of quality. What would you think if EA fired Drew, Greg, and Casey from Bioware?

SPYDER0416
I can not imagine any scenario in which West/Zampella would win the rights to a game that ACTIVISION OWNS
Keyword there.
where is the maybe option....
anyway i might... it depends on how long and good the single player is and all those stupid killstreaks are gone
i enjoyed every cod this gen. i dont care who made them. i never care who makes anygame. to tell the truth i dont even know who makes mario games lol.
