Who is gonna *WIN* E3 2011?

So who's going to have the best showing in your "expert" opinion fellow System Warriors?

Of course surprises by nature are thus, due to us not knowing. So it's impossible to account for that, but we've all heard rumors, and have our own suspicions.

I have to go with Nintendo, based on info that is currently available. New home console, a recently released handheld that is sure to have a ton of software in the pipeline to show off... Nintendo would have to try pretty hard to screw things up, me thinks.

Sony will have a bunch of games to show off, but that won't be enough.

And I expect more of the same from MS (referring to last years E3, Kinect (casual) few hardcore games, and one surprise title)

PS. plz leave a reason as to why you chose the way you did.

We gamers are going to be the ones to win E3 2011. Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony will excite, but we'll be the ones to come out as winners.

I will say Nintendo based on everything that we have been hearing about project cafe.

I'm gonna say Nintendo mainly because of their new system.

From Software - Dark Souls. Easily...

Nintendo, by virtue of having a new home console will have the most buzz going in. And it will either end marvelously or terribly depending upon what they have to show for it. As they seem to be refocusing on a core audience I expect more of the former reaction than the latter.

Sony has the launch of a new handheld, but home console trumps handheld, but they also have some newly announced games to show off as well as some announced late last year. Provided they don't make it poorly paced and boring like last year they should have a solid showing.

Microsoft has the benefit of low expectations to be easily exceeded. But it could end up a Kinect-fest.

Nintendo, and it should be a cake walk for them with their new Hardware on display.

I'd like to see a suprise from MS though, something to keep the Xbox a worthwile console to own

i can only imagine the buzz should all 3 (not just nintendo) announce/show new consoles... with Sony also going more in-depth as regards NGP/PS Vita or whatever they'll name it :P

Nintendo. Sony or Microsoft could win if the announced a new console.

Well since nobody expects anything from M$ they will have it the easiest. Their conference is probably going to have the most positive impact. And then Sony, because we're not expecting much special from them either. And then Nintendo because they have a frikking console to unveal. And playable at that.
So in terms of excitement all 3 will be pretty much equal. In terms of actually delivering something substantial and real, I think Sony and Nintendo will be head to head and I think M$ will make many empty or faraway promises that don't actually matter yet.

Nintendo auto wins because they have new shiny hard ware. We are all starving to see something new.

It's a pretty sure bet that MS will get owned @ E3 this year, so either Ninty or Sony, but with the killer lineup of games the PS3 has plus a new handheld system, I'll pick Sony.

Nintendo won... since April when they announced Cafe will be at E3.

Nintendo will win E3, new hardware is interesting even you like it or not it is fun to see what crazy things they up to now :P

Nintendo have been on a roll, so I don't think they'll be stopping now. Project Cafe might surprise or disappoint, but either way, they've got a lot on their plates.

The general consensus will be Nintendo because of Cafe, but unveiling a new console is, in my opinion, a dumb reason to claim victory. Cafe is practically necessary because the Wii is so outdated. Cafe shouldn't relegate the win to Ninty over Sony and Microsoft, companies who actually designed up to date consoles at the outset of the generation to avoid a necessary new console in only 5 years time. I think Sony will probably win in my eyes, but who knows.

Something about this supposed "reveal" about Cafe has me wondering, and this is based on the leaked images which I am all too aware are unconfirmed concepts, just as likely fan made speculation, so all must be taken with a grain of salt. But if perchance it does turn out to be true that their new system will be adopting this screen enabled analog controller, gearing for the core gaming audience and what not, does that mean they're also abandoning the motion control scheme they fostered into this generation? And what does that mean for the millions with whom the wii-mote had brought into gaming?
