Nintendo only if (and hopefully when) all this motion crap turns out to just be a fad and fades away.

Wasn't that supposed to happen like two years ago?

Microsoft. Nintendo has the two most successful platforms on the market right now, and they don't seem to be slowing down one bit. Sony has a very successful handheld and a moderately successful home console with a lot of staying power. Microsoft loses by default. Their reputation has taken a hit due to the various hardware problems of the Xbox 360, and their competitors are (finally) beginning to get their acts together when it comes to online services, which is the one area where the Xbox brand has dominated the last two generations.

Microsoft. It will be their 3rd system and that seems to be a tough point for companies.

In case you missed it, Microsoft and Sony are jumping on board with motion control, too. Motion control will be a facet of the game industry for years to come. Learn to deal with it or find a new hobby.

Sony. Sony has been in trouble since MS entered in the market. And the PS3 success compared to PS2 one is the clear result of that

Nintendo may have had a poor E3, but it's worth bearing in mind that the sorts of people paying attention to E3 are not the people buying Nintendo's products.

I'm very worried for Sony. They need to be honest with themselves with where they've gone wrong. They need to have games ready in time for the holiday season and not try to put even more handeld hardware on the market when they're bleeding money as it is.

And I really don't see the PS3 having a ten year lifecycle. If anything, they would do well to start afresh as Microsoft did when it became apparent that they had thrown everything at the original Xbox that they could. If they enter next gen before their competitiors, they may have a chance of building a userbase and, by extension, attracting (exclusive) third party support.

Sony is in biggest trouble. They have a good chance to change stuff around though. Even if they do finish last in sales, they can still be profitable and come out first in quality going into the nex gen.

Not going to happen. Though as the technology continues to advance, "waggle" might fade away.

I would say Nity because of the lag they have in the high-tech department. But i don't know how stable are Sony's finances.
