seriously, this is gonna be GOTY, hands down. even better then ME2. hell, it's gonna be better then GoW3! the game is just too much.

Sounds good, but I have a a laundry list of PS3 and PS2 games that I have to catch up with. Does sound good, though.

I can't wait for it. But what's the point of this thread? People who want it are going to buy it, people who don't won't.

RDR=My most anticipated game of the year!!! A strong contender for GOTY for sure IMO.

I think a lot of people don't realize that this game has pretty much the same sort of scope as a grand theft auto, only without name. This game is going to be HUGE!

it is twice as big? i thought it was about the same size, but with the horse riding instead of cars which would make room for more exploration.

For this reason alone, RDR is an awesome game.

Meh, maybe. I have way too much else to be bothered yet though.

How is an amazing story guaranteed? Rockstar isn't exactly bursting at the brim with masterful storytelling talent.

Incidentally, yes, I do want to play this, GTA IV induced qualms aside.

I wasn't until a few days ago, but i have to admit, it's gaining more and more hype for me every day.

Agreed on the wild west bit angle. Im being cautious about it but overall it looks like a thumbs up.

Looks interesting, but I only had enough room for 4 slots in my sig so I guess I won't be buying it :P

Im hyped for this game as much as you are.

Game looks great. I'm surprised by the chorus of "mehs". Then again I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the kids growing up today in the hip hop generation have no love for the western theme.

Of course I'm generalizing before any 'net "g" decides to bust a cap in me or whatever you kids say these days.

It's funny how a game from a big developer with tons of glowing previews gets a "meh" because "I don't like 'dem there Cowboys!"

Most of the land looks quite empty from what I've seen in the trailers.

Yes I know it's set in the Outback West before anyone tries to grill me.

Unfortunately though, RDR releases on the same week as Alan Wake, so I might not get to play it until much later.

The only reasons I can think of that someone wouldn't want this game is:

1. Not enough ninjas

2. Not enough anime

3. No care packages

4. No dragons

Luckily, I'm not a fan of any of the above, so it's high on my want list

I hear skinning animals... Is quite.. detailed..
