Who is still buying Aljen Vs Predator?

This game is getting alot of mixed reviews.. OXM gives it 8.0, IGN UK 8.5, then Gamespot gives it a 5.5 and GI gives it a 5.7 (I think)

Looks like its a classic love it or hate it scenario.

*shrugs* from what I can tell from the reviews sofar, most of the problems are due to controles, and some uninspired set pieces.

I am not going to buy it out the gates, but I will see if the average player likes it, altho I must admit I was bummed when they announced that AVP came out befoer Aliens: Colonial Marine.

And since the MP did not impress me in the first two avp games, I basicly only have the story mode to go after.

Where has Gamespot reviewed the game? The scores are not even posted on the website.... Edit my bad, they havn't updated the site yet apparently..

I cancelled my pre-order based on Game Informer's score. Fine by me. More money for other, better games, of which there are many. I may get No More Heroes 2 instead.donalbane

I wasn't going to buy it even if it scored 100/100. I don't really buy games anymore. Not with GameFly being so cheap :D Still, I'm excited for this game even if it's not superb. I'm just that big of a AvP fan.

I might get it the demo was fun but i cant see it doing me any more than a weekend of play and i could spend £40 on better stuff anyway this weekend :P

AVP isnt a movie game, never has been, its based of a comic.

I might get it used one day. I really wish Monolith (AVP2) would of made this game instead of those tools at Rebellion.

The demo on PC was awesome, reminded me a lot of hidden-source when playing the predator and the adrenaline rush it gives you once you get good at it is awesome.
