Who Is The Best 3rd Party Publisher In The Industry IYO?

Rockstar IMO. Every game they make is instant GOTY quality IMO. They are by far the best open world developers, and they are one of the best at creating memorable atomospheres in their games. They are one of the only AAA devs/publishers left who still havent jumped on the 2 year dev cycle bandwagon. Red Dead Redemption, The Gran Theft Auto series, L.A. noire, Max Payne, even the Midnight Club games.

Rockstar is the best IMO.

My second runner up would also be Bethesda. Rockstar and Bethesda games always seem to be content heavy with alot of replay value, with Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion, and Skyrim.

Who do you think is the best publisher in the industry?

I have to give this one to EA, simply because they put out so much stuff and even though it's not all great(not by a long shot) they do have a pretty large amount of amazing titles.

And actually, if we count Take-Two then I might have to choose them since they own both Rockstar and 2k.

Choosing between Rockstar and Valve won't be easy. Both are extremely consistent.

Take Two and Bethesda.

What no Square Enix? They published Batman Arkham Asylum/City, Just Cause 2, Chrono Trigger ds, Deus Ex, Dead Island. They are publising Tomb Raider, Hitman, and Thief 4 and they make the Final Fantasy games: FF 13, FF 13-2, FF vs 13, FF Type-0, Kingdom Hearts series, etc.

I've never been terribly impressed by any publisher. Maybe SEGA will be my favorite this gen.

Valve and EA.

I'll go with square enix.

I have to go with EA for the publisher, simply because they publish a lot of good games, and I also read that they give their developers a lot more creative freedom. I think Rockstar would classify as a developer, not sure though.

Holy crap. I would not have expected to see EA in 1st place. Just a few years ago EA would be dead last. Glad to see things changing in their favor.
