I agree. This guy takes a risk by creating the most unique games and they are breathtaking. SOTC was easily one of the most standout games last gen.

I've seen a lot of people talk smack about Nintendo and Wii, but not really so much about Shigeru Miyamoto himself. He seems pretty well-respected. Of course, I could be wrong.

Anyway, I am going to just throw out a dev company instead of an individual. I think that Codemasters is on the rise, and should get a bit more notoriety personally, as they are talented at making so many different types of games. They made Overlord (just fun as hell) They are the devs behind Dirt (killer racing game). On the way they have 2 games that I think will really put them on the map:

Clive Barker's Jericho (amazing looking horror FPS/RPG)

Rise of the Argonauts (The best looking/sounding greek mythology RPG I have ever seen)

Naughty Dog's Jason RubinHeil68

Forget Kojima. Forget Miyamoto. Forget Cliffy B. Forget Itagaki. Forget Bungie. Forget Ubisoft Montreal. Forget Nomura. Forget Sakaguchi. Forget Jaffe.

The TC is right. Fumito Ueda should get praised more not only here but in the industry itself. He can make games that can be enjoyed by both hardcore and casual gamers by having deep gameplay with simplified controls.

I don't disregard Miyamoto's contributions in the past, but I am willing to say that he has been completely outclassed and is now overrated by some (again, looking at him in modern times).

Fumito Ueda is a great choice, but I'm going to suggest a development team that never gets any credit- Pandemic.

Sure, you might know there games (Mercenaries, SW: Battlefront), but they just never seem to get any hype around their games. I personally feel that they're the best 3rd party team out there right now.

So true MM is the best in the series to me. Those mask quests had some really great stories, and the main story itself was really touching and cool
