Who is your favorite video game character of all time?

Mine is Solid Snake from MGS 1. Played by David Hayter of course. Just a badass character that I loved growing up with as a teenager. What about you, SW?

The cartoon came out after the game was a success. A shame that it never got any modern releases. How cool would a remaster be if it was like Bionic Commando Rearmed or Ducktales Remastered? I'd buy it.

Too hard to pick just one... but for playable characters, Master Chief is definitely up there for me. Also Lara Croft and of course, Geralt of Rivia and Ciri from the Witcher.

But I think most of my favourite characters are non-playable... like Alyx Vance (Half-Life), Andrew Ryan (Bioshock), Garrus Vakarian & Liara T'Soni (Mass Effect), Wheatley & Glados (Portal). Those are the main ones anyway.

These are excellent gaming character. Doom slayer may not speak but his appearance and badassery make it one of the best.

Artyom only speak on loading screen but his backstory is so good that make him a deep character.

other than Tommy angelo is by far best character written i have ever seen. He is a Gangstar but not a bad guy and keep his morale. and how story told is such fantastic way.

Its a reboot and he is new character called Doom Slayer. Doom 3 also have different character who is just called marine.

It's why I can relate to GTA characters a lot as well:

Sometimes I just want to be a jerk that kills innocent people, other times I try to play as meticulously towards my goal as possible.

If someone were to ask me who's my favorite video game characters, it's always gonna be Samus from Metroid series. There are alot of really cool characters out there, but the one that has served me the best has always been Samus. She has done well for me in Smash brothers series for decades and looking forward for her return in Metroid Prime 4.

Geralt of Rivia easily, but that may just because of how attached you get to the choices you make - he reflects the player. That being said Jorge from Halo Reach wins as badass in my books

Princess Peach. I like really pretty and cute characters. I'm sorry, but I can't stand looking at ugly people as I game. It's shallow of me but I don't care. The only exception is Pokemon since I like to catch as many different Pokemon as possible.

It's why I love: Peach, Zelda, Kirby, Toad, Yoshi, Amy Rose, Cream the Rabbit, women from Dynasty Warriors, feminine cute men (Link, Fire Emblem men, Final Fantasy men, etc), and more.
