Who Owns Crytek

Genuine question, are they even owned by a company. EA is publishing Crysis 3, ThQ is publishing Homefront 2. I always thought they were owned by Ubisoft then went to EA. Are they just using these companies as publishers? Most Devs use the same publisher.

I'm assuming satan because only satan would be so cruel as to deny the pubic another glorious Timesplitters game.
