who prefers xbox 360 over ps3?

i know for a fact im about to get cooked like lebron did over his decision, but OVERALL, MY preference is 360....now WAIT! let me explain, i had a ps3, for a while....because na mean, everyone was just telling me how amazing it was. so i got a slim, i was told the exclusives is so amazing. I just didn't enjoy them, except metal gear, i love metal gear. but other than that, beside tha blu ray which i can go buy for a 100 and browse tha internet which i can do at a higher speed on my pc.........i don't like it more than 360, i buy a system to play games on, and every game i have owned on playstation 3 and played on 360 BESIDES EXCLUSIVES...looked and played better on 360.....i just prefer xbox, i know i'm not tha only person in the world that prefers xbox.....so go ahead and cook me, i'm ready.

Don't prefer either really. Both have tons of games I like, so it's win-win.

I got my PS3 about 2 months ago. I gamefly'd most exclusives. I really enjoyed uncharted 1&2. Killzone 2 was all graphics but game play was not so great. I enjoyed Heavy Rain. I also love blu-ray's on my 1080p 50' screen. Saying all that I hate the system updates. They take way too long. I had to wait almost 20 min from when I first put in Heavy rain and uncharted 2 disc into the system until I was finally able to play. Being a parant with limited game time, this blows. I definitely prefer my xbox360. controller and xbox live are way better (IMO). I play all multiplats on xbox360. both systems are great but I must say xbox 360 is a smoother experience.

I judge my consoles purely on a game by game basis. I play my 360 more than my PS3 but I like the PS3 hardware a metric ton more.

Except for the controllers.

i prefer 360. i havnt played the ps3 in a while but soon will start playing it again. one of the reasons i prefer the 360 is becaus eof the xbla games. i play much more downloadable games than i do retail games. i love downloadable games.

I have a 360 and I definitely prefer it over the PS3-- there's really not much on the PS3 that interests me.

I have both systems so I am completely unbiased...that being said, the godbox 360 is twice the system of the PS3. Better online, better community, better games, better controller....WHAT MORE CAN I SAY?

I use to game heavily on Xbox 360 up until May of this year. I broke down and bought a PS3 for heavy rain (which is one of my top ten games of all time) and I haven't looked back since. It kinda sucks though that most of my friends have a 360, which I understand, but because Xbox Live is great.

I just can't seem to convince them that PSN is really not as bad as people think. Personally, I prefer PSN and the playstation store but it's all opinion I know. Once i realized this however, i sold all of my xbox games and bought all of the PS3 exclusives I'd been missing out on. :D That and I like the extras that come on PS3 thanks to blu-ray like UFC 2011 came with several classic fights in HD on disc ;)

I can definitely see both sides though. I just figure since I have a gaming pc hopefully i won't miss out on too much 360 content.

i agree with you TC. while i love my ps3, my 360 gets the majority of my time by far because of superior multiplats, controller and online community.

Bah, lot's of people prefer 360. And lot's more only have 360, so they can't compare. Hard to feel like an outcast when there are more than 40 million of them out there...

friends all game on 360, and the only PS3 games that caught my interest were GOWIII, MGSIV, UC2 and Demon's Souls. I also am not a fan of PSN. So i prefer 360 because i buy most of my games for that system. Not including PC otherwise that wins easily.

i really don't have a preference. tend play my 360 more, as most of my friends are on xbl.

I only own two games on the pS3, and like 20 on the 360, but I like them equally, even though I game on my 360 much more since I have barely any RL friends that play on the PS3.

can't wait for killzone 3 though, I think that's going to be one of the better games coming next year. INception blu-ray also will make me treasure my PS3 even more.

I'd like the ps3 more if it hadn't lost all its 3rd party support from last gen, most of its exclusives are just new IP's that im not that interested in.

I myself like the PS3 better overall and am getting an Xbox due to friends letting me borrow their games. So I can play all MP games for free. BUT the only thing that has stopped me is that if mine breaks down then its money flushed down the drain. I do not want to pay $$$ to keep having it fixed at the local store. Xbox has plenty of great games that are worth it to pick up one.

Meh. I like them both. I've been playing Reach for awhile now and just got Resonance of Fate for the PS3 ($28 sealed on Amazon!), great game no matter what system you get it for. My most anticipated game atm is The Last Guardian so, yeah. PS3 and 360 both have their strengths. I will admit however that I much prefer XBL over PSN. The new update in Nov will make it even better.mythrol

I have both, and I don't really prefer either over the other at the moment. That might change over the next year if the 360's lineup doesn't improve, though :|
