I mean what does being published by one of the big 3 have to do with the best line up for the next year? That tack on requirement seems kind of stupid for the base question asking about the best lineup.

No it's the best published line up there's nothing tacked, on it's simple. Who's putting out the best games for the next year. A game like say KH3 would not be part of MS/Sony/Nintendo line up they are putting out.

I like the lineup for all 3 and get to play them all. Only fanboys lose. I know you are only talking about Publishing, but to dismiss games because they aren't being published by the console maker is pretty lame.

I'd put Nintendo in 1st by default and this isn't their strongest year. You only show console games while Nintendo has a lot of 3DS games they publish as well. ( I didn't see where consoles were specified and if they are excluded, then I guess Windows X/PC games should be excluded as well.

The above games are THEIR line-ups for THEIR systems to get you to buy their HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE, and game like KH3, which will probably come out in 2016, has nothing to do with THEIR line-ups of games.

No one is going to go into a store look at the library of games between these systems and say, "Hey, this game isn't published by the company of the system. I can't count that one!"

The title not matching up to the OP is what threw me off. Making illusionary restrictions to make the library of your preferred system library sound better isn't going to change reality. The library is the library no matter who published what. Tomb Raider isn't published by MS but guess what it's still a very real part of MS's 2015 holiday line up.

Going by your list, I'll list the company and number of games I'm interested in:

1. Nintendo ( 7 games )

2. Microsoft ( 6 games )

3. Sony ( 3 games )

Both Microsoft and Sony has a strong line up of games.

I count 3 titles I'm interested in for MS, 4 for Sony and 1 for Nintendo. So I guess I'll go for Sony.
