Who still has faith in PS3? Who has lost it?

I think the PS3 still might have somewhat of a promising future.  But stuff like losing DMC 4 and their pathetic attempt to have an online with "Home" is not making the road any easy.

Prediction, I would say the only thing keeping them afloat right now is "fan loyalty" and the possiblity of "BluRay" winning the format war.  (Why anyone would use their console to play movies is beyond me though).  If it didn't have these 2 things, the system would of crashed even harder than it has, and most probably would of went the way of the DC.

Okay, good answers. Now riddle me this, cows and other P3 loyalists (myself included).

What would it take for you to lose it all? MGS? Final Fantasy? Lack of improvements in the online area? What would it take for you to say "**** this"?

For me....MGS, since its really leading the charge from what I'm seeing on here. Cows get pretty frightened when a thread comes along asking what they would do if it went multiplat. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Squeenix slept around a little more, so Final Fantasy, oh well if that goes.

the 2 biggest problems i have with the ps2, i think this the same for most people..

1. its way too expensive, blu ray, yello ray, i don't care, its a games system, and no game system is worth that much.

2. some 80-90% of ps3's heavy hitters are available or are scheduled to be released on other platforms, theres 2 big exclusives left, 3, if they ever get round to god of war 3, but even still £425 just to play 3 games..

.. but i think theres still hope for the ps3, if sony can get their act together, reduce the price, establish new exclusive IPs and lots of them, then yeah i think they could bounce back..

besides SONY still has - R:FOM, Ravchet & Clank, Lair, Heavenly Sword, FFXIII,, FF vs. XIII, Motorstorm, White Knight Story, WarHawk, etc.

I still have faith in Sony I mean everyone tumbles now and then when your on the top its just foolish to assume that Sony will stay that way, I man just look at Nintendo, they tumbled and now their getting back on the top.

Still have faith. But it's hard to keep it with all the bad news that come every single day!

I'm not a cow, more sheep, but it's painful to see Sony beating themselves up here. The Home announcement was all well and good, and I'm dying to see it in action, but now with DMC gone multiplat too, are some of you cows losing faith? Manticores as well? PSWiis or PS360s? I myself think they can turn it around if this is the last of the really bad news for a good while. If not, I'm not sure how they will keep sales up enough to keep the 3rd parties supporting them.
