i bought one but i was so bored with it once i got the SP i starting taking it apart to see what was inside..which was weird because i had a see-through one. now i still have my SP but the ds lite is the main.

I do. After getting the SP, it became completely useless except when playing GBA games on TV and using it as a controller (via GB Player). It has it's place in my collection.
I hate, I miss those days playin it, those things were awesome. Stopped workin a few years ago, also have my first color. Still got pokemon red and blue and gold though, mannn good times.

I hope the next Gameboy is like a bigger Micro, with a larger screen and the button layout like the SNES, DS, etc...
The DS can continue to be it's own thing, but I want a straight up handheld system that can do Dreamcast quality graphics. Maybe that's asking for much, but damn, sounds sweet.
Yes, I never upgraded to the SP so for the longest time I needed to stand next to a lighthouse in order to see the screen. Then I bought a Micro some years later and all was well.
EDIT: Oh, I didn't read the topic title properly. I thought we were talking about the original Gameboy (which I still have in very good condition). I still have my GBA, but my brother dropped some ice cream on it so now the buttons don't work :)
