Who thinks SCC will score below 8.5?

I think it will score below an 8.5, reviewers usually dont like games that stray away from what made the series great. An example would be FF13, Silent Hill Homecoming. I have a feeling conviction will kinda flop

Im predicting an 8.0. Which still is not a bad score.

If MW2 can get a 9 anything can. I'm sure gamespot will love the new direction of this SC game.

I think it will get a 8.0 but wouldn't be surprised if it got a 7.5 or lower based on all the reactions from thedemo and previews.

Great scores none-the-less.

As a huge fan of the series & mostly a lem, I'm leaning toward 7.5 at best.

I didn't say 7.5 was a bad score. I like lots of A games. I just meant that the sight of all the rampaging fanboys wont be pretty.

lol @ everyone who thinks this game will score below an 8...Conviction is way too polished to get that low of a score. There is no way it's getting lower than an 8...it's going to be a great action game. Have you guys seen how good the Coop is?

8.0. The fact that it's a big name game will help and hurt it at the same time

there will bound to be reviewers who give it lower then an 8.5. But i think this game will average around 8.5

Honestly,I wouldn´t be surprised if it did.

After that dreadfull demo,I feel a 7.5/8.0 would be a fitting score,but I´ll wait for the full game and resume my chastising comments later.

I'm going a 5.0, however as some else said, if MW2 can get a 9.0, anything can.

i'm guessing it will be 8.0-8.5 solid score. i think many will not like the new direction of splinter cell though. While i am excited over SCC it is a little off putting how it's so action oriented and there are only lethal kills

Depends if a hardcore Splinter Cell fan reviews it and doesn't like the new direction the series has gone it will get panned. But if the reviewer is new to the series or didn't really like the series to begin with it should be 8.5 or higher easily. The demo was great problem is people don't have an imagination and play it properly they just go in run and gun style.

AAA. it didnt stick to its roots but who cares. as long as its better. and it is

i'm thinking 8-8.5, which is a very solid score.

i never really enjoy the tc series until vegas ,

vegas i played r6 for n64 and dc but never really enjoy it

same for 3 and 3black arrow -to linear ,

vegas was great the first few scs were ok same for gr ,
so ya im hoping this does fail ,

but knowing gamespot and the fans of the series it will sell no matter what just cause its on 360

GS are unpredictable... there is no reason behind them, so it's imposible to guess what score a game will recieve. So, I give the 6.5-9.5 range for Conviction.
