Who thinks Sony can beat MS now?

in 2001 Sony fanboys laughed off MS's entry to the console war, so did Sony.  But look now, who's getting the last laugh?

MS is only getting stronger and stronger.  look where they started 6 years ago.

its been 6 months. console wars go on for a good 5 years. anything can happen for a number of reasons down the road.... price drops, game releases, bluray/hd-dvd adoption, etcShockerD19

but havent you noticed from 2001 MS has only went up? gotten stronger?  every year they are making a dent. and Sony has yet to find a formula to stop them.

PS2 is still laughing in everyone's faces. And 6 months after the release of Wii and PS3 isn't a long time. There's still plenty of more time for more laughs. Noone's had their last laugh yet. 

can Ps3 out do MS now? i dont think so.

Its a little early to declare a winner dont you think?

If Sony reaches 9 million in one year like the 360 (or 10 million depending on who you ask)

Then we can say Sony has what it takes.

If not...well...doesnt look too good...still possible to win though.

I think the best Microsoft can hope for is to double what the xbox did and that would bring them to about 50 million and that still might not be enough. So far it is about on pace with the original xbox so they have to do a combination of all four things to pull it off ......

a) support it for 6 years at least instead of 4.

b) keep milking their hardcore fanbase with new models

c) steal playstation fans and get the youger kids to graduate to their console instead of the ps3 triple

d) release hardware that breaks after a year 

Can they do it ?????

Sony is still killing ms and nintendo or did you forget that the ps2 is still outselling the 360 and wii ??

Maybe you forgot about the best selling game this year god of war 2 it's possible that it will be GOTY.
