Microsoft definitely. They actually played it safe by releasing it a year earlier

Nintendo, its a gamecube with a new controller, microsoft went totally next gen, full hd, a lot of good stuff. PS3 did a lot to, and probably took the most risk completely supporting blue ray and putting it in every ps3. Microsoft took a risk just releasing their faulty console!

I agree with whocares here. Ninty took quite a big risk by going the motion control route and not going the HD route of MS and Sony. Sony took a pretty big risk by putting their eggs in one basket with Blu-Ray and the initial high pricetag. MS took the least amount of risk. Why do you think so many people call the 360 the Xbox 1.5. It just wasn't that big of leap from the original.

But Microsoft pushed their console out the door without making sure everything was working properly first.

sony actually...

microsoft took a risk, they had to know about the RROD... it's just not possible that they didn't.

nintendo took a big risk with the wiimote.

the only risk that sony took was the high price and new processor

Microsoft. Ninty went with the motion controls and cruddy specs, wheras Sony realeased their first home console at a higher cost than their competition.

Microsoft, definitely.

Sony = HIGH launch MSRP

Nintendo = Console built on motion controls with less impressive visuals
