Who wants the Vita to fail? [POLL]

I personally don't want the Vita to fail. Anyone who WANTS a product to fail is sick, especially when handheld gaming is assumed to fail and lose marketshare to Apple's **** excuse of a gaming platform. I think most ppl don't want the Vita to fail, they're just giving payback for all the "OMG!!! TEH. 3DS IS TEH DOOMED!!!" threads. Anyways I don't want the vita to fail but I don't necessarily want it do do better than the 3DS either.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

Seriously, I doubt anyone would. Wanting a business to fail, and wanting people to lose their jobs isn't a healthy mindset to walk around with.foxhound_fox

Even if everyone loses there jobs, the ends justify the means. If that means we do not have to buy two handhelds to play everygame that is a good thing.

There will always be other openings in other companies. As one falls others rise.

I like Sony, so I hope the Vita doesn't fail.

But I think they have their work cut out for them and I can imagine them hitting PS3 users with an online fee within the year to help cover their losses.

If you care about the 3DS, you better hope the Vita doesn't fail. If it weren't for the Vita, the 3DS may very well still be $250. PraetorianMan

Lol, atleast 3DS does not enable its users to practice groping hardware... I am more than happy with slightly worse tech and glassless 3D.

Ps2 is terrible, I never understood the hype it got. With the Ps1 it is understandable. The Ps2 was literally terrible tech and a DVD player. It had DC graphics years later.

The Xbox and GC are much better and had better libraries minus RPGs.

THe Vita failing is bad for everyone in the industry. Although I do want the 3DS to beat it

why do people want something to fail? I personally want the vita to succeed even though it didnt get a great start.

I do not want the Vita to fail, I do not want it to suffer, and I certainly don't dislike it.

Sony rarely does something making them worth hating or even disliking, but I do think that the Vita will be a failure.

Shows time and time again through history, that the handhelds that are the most successful are the ones with the longest battery life.

Going by that train of thought, both Nintendo and Sony dropped the ball... Hard.

I hope the Vita finds a spot and ends up breaking even for Sony atleast. Just like I hope the #ds was not a complete waste either. If nothing else those two platforms will help the next gen of handhelds. Who knows? maybe we might even see batterylife that exceeds 5 hours next time?

ROFL these weekly sales on system wars are like the equivalent to watching your favorite sports team win a game to some people :P

The only product I can truly say I want to fail is CoD so we can have more creativity in gaming. (there's still plenty of it though to be sure.) But I'm not a massive Nitny fanboy so I am neutral towards the Vita. Don't care.
