Who will have the most exclusive million sellers in 2008 ?

and only in 2008 I'm saying, I'm not talking about who have the most million selling games upto now.

You have to think about it and give your honest opinion.

PS3 will have such games as MGS4, LBP, GT5, Tekken 6 etc which have a high chance of breaking the million mark by end of 08. The Wii has Mario Kart, SSBB along with other high quality titles which could also break the million mark. The 360 has NG2 & Banjo Threeie along with Fable2 etc which may well also break the million mark within 08.

Also mention name of the games who will break the 1 million mark.

this year theplaying field will be evened out and each console has a high chance for having the most million sellers especially around Christmas time.

Keep in mind that I'm talking about in each of the 3 major territories combined to sell over a million notmillion in each territory.

NG2(360)-M$ is publishing it, and they will give ithalo-like marketing.

Halo Wars(360)-Its halo, what more is there to be said, hell the people buying it won't even know its a RTS as long as its halo.

MGS4(ps3)-should sell a million in within the first month or so, highly anticipated

GT5(ps3)-Best racing simulator on the market, highly anticipated, and has a habit of selling well.

i think the ps3 will have the most exclusive million sellers, i think 360 might have the least.

but million sellers overall, the wii will have the least.

The PS3 has the most exclusives that are potential million sellers. The Wii is a close second due to Monster Hunter 3 exclusivity, Wii Fit and SSBB. The 360 has very little from what we know so far.

Is it opposite day or what? Why is Wii is losing the poll, when I can name 5 million sellers off the top my head, while the 360 might get lucky and Banjo-Threeie might sell a million.

3rd party games SELL on the console, even those of lesser pedigree. Dead Rising, Lost planet, saints row, stuff like that just explode on the 360.

The Banjo fanbase probably isn't even on the 360. It all depends really.

Mario Party 8 was crappy, and that sold a million (3 million). If 9 is crappy, it may as well sell as much. Monster Hunter isn't considered "terrible" by Japanese people. That game got like... a 37/40 on Famitsu or something. FF:CC got 8.something here, it's not bad.

So far the PS3 exclusives has been flops in reviews and sales. So if you're a gambling man or an analyst then you would choose the one who has been selling games by the millions for their console, the 360.

i should have the highest attach. it's been out the longest (more time for ppl to buy games) and the wii much faster so obviously all those ppl wouldn't have had as much time since buying a wii.

The PS3 has 4 One million sellers and the X360 has 30 One million sellers (many of which are exclusive). You be the judge. Its not hard to determine the obvious.

Im not sure. It's between the 360 and the PS3. The 360 has the advantage of a larger install base. But the PS3 has more titles coming in 2008 with potential.

As for the Wii, sure, it has Mario Kart and Smash Brothers, but really, thats all.

Xbox 360 will be hard to overcome for any of them, but I think its safe to say none of them will be the DS.

But the Wii does already have million sellers like Resident Evil 4, Red Steel, Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mariom Mario Party 8, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Wii Play, Wii Sports, Guitar Hero 3

2008 you can be sure to add Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Young King and the Promised Land, Dragon Quest Sword: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Terror (almost a million in japan already), No More Heroes, Perhaps Okami, no maybe not but I hope so, Wii Fit, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Spore, Monster Hunter 3, if theres an Animal Crossing it will sell that much too, Red Steel 2, Dr. Mario, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, so many others.

mind you this is all three regions,... EU,NA,JP of course.

Be aware that the user base of PS3 will be above 10 million early this year and I'm sure the software sales will catch up, I mean it's only a matter of time till the PS3 gems arrive which will cause alot of people to buy PS3 for. Also PS3 seems to have the most exclusives this year and appeals to the same market as the 360. Soon people wouldn't resist not buying a PS3 due to games like MGS4, LBP, Infamous, Tekken 6, GT5 etc.Swift_Boss_A

I picked Wii. Let's face it. The Wii is an exclusives magnet. This is gonna be compounded by the fact that the games that stand out are going to be built for the Wii and will therefore be better games which will sell more. Extra money from the lowered cost of development allows a bigger marketing budget. Wii hasthe largest install base (which in case people haven't figured out dilutes the attach rate) whcih means that is has a greater market for apps. Finally, the games cost less meaning that it is less of a plunge for people to pick up an extra game or two a year.

We can see from '07 that the majority of blockbuster titles on the 360 are also going to the PS3 and vice versa. CoD4, Assassin's Creed, Orange Box, etc. The attach rate and number of games might be higher right now, but they did have a year's head start and are selling consoles at a slower rate. This causes those figures to be inflated in comparison and is misleading when you want to seperate only '08 software sales.

So, I'm 100% behind the Wii.
