I voted for the PS3 because it has a 10 year life cycle while the original Xbox isn't even in production anymore.

You sir are afraid to put the Wii up there coz you know it would win this poll and this generation.

The wii is a kiddy console, Its made of mario and more mario that are remakes from the past. no good games, graphics or anything impressive. Just gimmicky controls. and thats why its not in the poll, its not in the war.Tobin09

Its winning because for the ammount of time the system has been available it has sold more systems despite facing problems that the PS3 never did such as a HUGE shortage and bad press when it came to console reliability. Sony ahs faced bad press, sure, but only about how it has no games.

It's still way to early to tell who will win. The PS3 could definitely comeback once the price of their system gets below $400 and more quality titles are released.Gamers will start grabbing that system when that happens. It really depends on how far of a lead the Wii and 360 gets before the PS3 starts making a run to catch up.

Complicated question...

360 will probably have the best quality western developer support, and sales.

Wii will have the most hardware sales worldwide.

PS3 will probably come close to the 360 because of Japan, but has no chance of beating it in the US. Europes a wildcard, really.

The wii cant win a war that its not in. Nintendo completely abandoned many of its fans, myself, and chose to go after grandmas and a bunch of people that have never played video games before in the past. The wii is something entirely different from ps3 and 360, they cannot be compared. I dont care if the wii sells a two hundred million units, its still lame. The GAMING war is between ps3 and 360, and heck you can even throw pc in there, but the wii... no way.

i fully support what ur saying i mean you can't compare it its procesors and capablility is less than that of the ps3 and 360. whats more the controls are completely different and as tyler said the wii was made for more casual gamers and can;t possibly be sonsidered a contender in the TRUE gamer war

guys I never mentioned WII cause its terrible in graphics even games are for children only but XBOX360 AND PS3 is the real consoles and BTW never also mentioned PC cause its terrible in games games on PC are few only consoles has many games and the best games like PC only this year is coming CRYSIS of-course awesome and also FARCRY 2 and world in conflict these are the exclusives for PC and world in conflict coming to 360.

People buy wii cause its the cheapest console and some poeple like to play old school games ofcourse wii is better than ps2 but not better than ps3 and xbox 360
