Who won 2008: Lemmings, Cows, Sheep, or Hermits?

In my opinion the Lemmings won, because of its wide variety of exclusives aimed at a more mature audience(sorry Nintendo.) It had game exclusives like Mass Effect, Gears of War, GTA, Banjo Kazooie, and Halo to really give everyone a wonderful experience when buying a system. This system has way more exclusives than systems like the PS3, which has, basically MGS4 as its heart. Also, it took so long for the PS3 to get any exclusives it left cows looking at their watches. Also, the PC... I can't even start, all the PC does is just take games from other systems and make them their own. Real original. The Wii is great for a younger audience, but cannot hold up to what some mature gamers want.

In System Wars, I think it was PC, followed by PS3. This is just down to Gamespot scores though.EuroMafia

I got to play all the great games of 2008, (except a few PC exclusives, you can't really rent those. :/)

I didn't even think this subject was up for debate. Games or Sales or both in SW has always defined who is winning or losing on the SW boards.

Since we only count GS reviews here and use them as the barometer PC wins in games.

Obviously the PS3/360 don't win in sales.

Now seeing that the PS3/360 don't win in games or sales how does one claim they won "SW"

Sure they can be the best iyo but how do they win SW?

But GS scores say that PC has the best overall amount of critically claimed games and exclusives out of any platform. I thought people only counted GS scores not GS nominations.

First off there is no such entity as consoles as a sum of 3. They are 3 individual unique platforms. This isn't power rangers and consoles don't combine to be the Mega Zord. Likewise even if GS says MGS4 is the best graphical game out there what does that have to do with anything? Graphics don't win the games do. And on GS I thought everyone went by GS's scores on SW.

then the ps3 wins because it had goty and won most of the awards,if the pc had such critcally acclaimed games it would have picked up some game awards.

Yes and this is why the GC was hailed as the victor correct? SW has never gone by the awards only the scores of the games and the amount of good scoring games as dictated by GS. But you're free to do as you wish. Infact I hope more people are like you and go against the grain. Then all this can stop about only GS's scores can count and so forth.
