Poll Who won e3 out of the big 3? (264 votes)
For me it was Nintendo by a mile > sony > microsoft.

Would say PC was the best conference really well paced and nice humor with good new projects that interest me. After that microsoft by far. Sony was awful, but nintendo took the cake my god it was baaaad. Probably the worst conference i ever saw.
Don't like smash?
@n64dd: Odd enough i liked it on the n64, never really liked it after that. Not into fighters much. So yea if you are into smash i could see this conference being a really well done deal as it goes deep into detail and well explained. However if you are not that interested in smash it was pure torture to sit through.

Fair enough!
For me Sony did because they showed 4 exclusive games I'm likely to buy day one.
Microsoft had some great looking 3rd party games on their stage but I'll play them on PS4 so I can't give them credit for that. Their exclusive lineup is lacking.
Nintendo was a total bust for me.
1. Sony
They had the strongest 1st party showing. RE2Make was also my most anticipated. Crappy pacing and not much 3rd party.
2. MS
Weak 1st party but a plethora of big multiplats. Cyberpunk 2077 was a huge reveal.
3. Nintendo. I just wanted to see more.

i actually caught microsoft's here and there. I didn't see the Cyberpunk 2077 stuff, need to look into it.
Probably Sony.
Microsoft continues their exclusive drought, but Nintendo... Nintendo was straight-up insulting.
I don't even care about Smash, please give me my time back.
MS easily. All they did was show games. Even tho there wasn't much first party... They still showed the most games
Sony conference was trash. The shuffling of people around in the beginning? Wtf was that?
Sony gave the more reason to buy their console, but lacked in quantity of games.
Microsoft showed the most games, but most of those will be played and sell more on PS4 and who wanted Halo Gears and Forza already own an X1.
Nintendo showed 1 relevant game that appeals to the demographic that already own their consoles on day 1. Pretty lackluster.
So, for me... it's:
Sony = Microsoft > PC > Ubi > Bethesta > Nintendo > EA.
Not Nintendo thats for sure. Clicked Sony, but only because third party releases are always great but you do get them on the competition. These things are for exclusives. Cyberpunk, which is going to be mind blowing, will be just as mind blowing on other devices.

Resident Evil 2 is 3rd party. So is Control; the female version of Quantum Break.
Anyways, I vote Microsoft. The conference itself was laid out great to me; just games after games. I was excited to see everything I could play on my PC and then some. They had a little something here for everyone. I didn't see "Xbox exclusives" but "Microsoft exclusives" that I can enjoy on PC.
MS. Nintendo may have been among the worst of the big three this year, but that means nothing compared to the worst of it all: EA.
They each had a couple games I'm interested in. Microsoft with the multiplats and Battletoads. Sony with the exclusives and RE2 Remake. Nintendo with Smash and... I guess Mario Party will be fun for the family.
All in all not a bad E3. Sony won by a smidge for me given Ghost of Tsushima, Last of Us 2 and RE2 Remake. Simply the platform with the games I want to play more.
I won because I have more games to play. Too much in fact.
Amen brother.
One thing nobody is saying is all nintendo games had actual gameplay?
Which is cool and all but Nintendo was what 45 minutes long? 30 minutes was for Smash and the other 15 minutes? Half of those 15 minutes was stuff we already knew...lol.
During the first 5 minutes of Nintendo's I would of said them, easily.
But they completely fucking ruined it with over 25 minutes of Smash and then became the worst........
I thought Sony's was a little clueless in it's delivery but Nintendo.....wtf were they thinking.
Am going to keep it real:
General conference: It was Microsoft by far but the exclusives was really lacking
Games: Sony by far but the organisation of the conference was abyssal
I will give it to Microsft due the sheer games they showed, however most were multi plats which didn't convince me to buy an xbox.
I like Smash so Nintendo's was amazing for mee, but I understand others complaints about it. Almost every Nintendo E3 Direct is bad, Treehouse is where it always excels.
Anyway I chose Microsoft, such a solid showing, games for everyone and they showed them at a great pace. Their conference was full of hype. Sony's wasn't bad but only really showed the one genre, it all melded into 1 for me, amazing visuals though.
@Renegade_Fury: Nah. Not worse than Nintendo's Wii Music fiasco. Dreadful but they have been even more dreadful.
Microsoft had more energy and their presentation was better. Sony had better content. I'd go w/ Sony.
I prefer Playstation, but Xbox probably had the best show, since they focused just on games - and alot of them. My only complaint would be that they were still too predictable. Nothing really earth shattering. It went very much by the book.
Sony probably had a similar level of exclusive content as Microsoft, and I prefer their 1st party, but they didn't show as much quantity or 3rd party and had a few too many diversions. I liked the touch with live music, but the changing venues and "fake commentary" and intermission were just really dumb and unnecessary ideas. Basically Sony's presentation was off, and again no real earth shattering announcement.
Nintendo was embarrassing as always. They should have called their press conference Smash expo. Switch is almost looking like Wii-U it has so few really good games in the pipe. I guess the 3rd party situation is quite a bit better, but sadly too many of these are games I've already played long ago. No real interest in revisiting old games "because Switch".
Not a single Lemming went in to the Microsoft conference saying 'I wonder what multiplats I'm going to get'
Not a single Cow went in to the Sony conference saying 'I wonder what multiplats I'm going to get'
Not a single Sheep went in to the Nintendo conference saying 'I wonder what multiplats I'm going to get'
Microsoft had a good conference...... but they didn't deliver what Lemmings watched the conference for.......New IP's, exclusives and some new shit to put the hurt on Sony/Cows.
Sony delivered what we've known for days they would deliver..... Gameplay (:/) of their last remaining PS4 exclusives.
Nintendo.....well.....delivered jack.....No Metroid, No online information......nothing
@PCgameruk: Sometimes they show new stuff over the next couple days like Samus Returns but I wouldn't expect too much this year.
Nintendo had as always an absolute shit conference, no 3rd party games at all, and the same exclusive Nintendo brands as the previous years. And the video of the "young" adults playing switch, is so miss-targetted, Switch is for kids and that is a fact they should cater to.
Sony did even worse, despite the exclusive games the presentation was just poor and the first trailer from the Last of us, even made the audience feel awkward.
So the "winner" has to be presentation wise Microsoft, they showed games and nothing but games. But they did not show anything that will move Xbox ´s, where Sony showed games that will move their console.
So, all in all, there are no winners in this E3.
@jumpaction: I thought about it, but at least that presentation was funny. This one was literally about one game, which I personally don't care about. Even if they did something bare bones, like share info on their online subscription, that would have been better.
@Renegade_Fury: I dunno seeing Smash and Fife Emblem pushes it above unintentionally funny... just about.
Still awful. Damn you Mario Party.
I think everyone (but not EA and FU for them ruining Command & Conquer) did okay this years E3 but for me personally, it's between MS and PC Gaming Show. They both show lots of fun games I'm looking to buy and play later on, I'll go with MS and follow by PC Gaming Show, Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Square Enix and the worst EA.
Voted: MS (but I want to also vote PC Gaming Show)
