I'm getting tired of these threads so I'll make the definitive answer. Who lost? Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. Who won? Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo...

This year was obviously a great year for E3 from ALL the major consoles. Nobody lost at E3 this year. If your a Sony fan(not fanboy) as I am you will think Sony had a better presentation. If your a Microsoft fan you will think that Microsoft had an amazing presentation. And again if your a Nintendo fan you will think they had an amazing presentation. End of story. Personally I think MS and Sony were equal and I didn't like Nintendo's presentation at all, but I know and can completely understand why fans of Nintendo software would be excited. So why should I go and say "Nintendo lost, they suck, 5 million mario games" etc. Some threads(1/7) here are ridiculous. I thought this was the best E3 since forever and all 3 companies delivered exactly what their fans wanted to hear so in the end none of them lost. If you weren't a Nintendo fan before hand their job wasn't to cater to your liking and release a Nintendo Wii2 with super hd graphics and 2 terabytes of hd space. Nitnendo MS and Sony all did their job end of story.

Sony won E3, it's an easy choice. Being a PC gamer and not having a console, if I were to pick one to buy after watching the 3 conference I would pick the PS3. They just showed better games and more exclusives. Sony: 1. Showed gameplay for Uncharted 2 2. Showed gameplay for God of War 3 3. Showed gameplay for Assassins Creed 2 4. Personally I thought their motion controll was the best 5. They showed the most impressive game there which was The Last Guardian MS: The reason why I didn't like MS conference was 1. Their top games are more like expansion packs. Halo ODST is not a true sequel but just an add on with different character 2. Halo reach? maybe a sequel but no gameplay shown only a small teaser 3. Left 4 Dead 2? After watching all the gameplay movies I have to say that's definetely not a true sequel, everything from graphics to animations are rehashed, should of been a DLC 4. They're motion controll seemed more like a gimick since they did not demonstrate it in real time instead only having a video. It could of been all scripted. And Peter Molyneaux should not be taken seriously, he's never delivered on anything he hyped in the past.

By better games what do you mean though? I'm sure 360 owners think their games are better and who am I to argue? It's personal choice which is my reason to saying that they all "won". They are releasing stuff that are getting their fans excited.

I thought MS did. Halo Reach, Forza 3, and Final Fantasy XIII were the only console exclusives that were must have for me.

Really it's a toss they all did really well. 360 and PS3 did a great job presenting themselves. But Nintendo had the best new games IMO.

In terms of games sony.

In terms of tech MS

In terms of games I want... MS. Sony wasn't too far behind though but Sony really focused on games honestly while the latter part of MS conference was showing off tech.

I thought that Microsoft and Sony both had very good press conferences and both have a strong line up of games. Nintendo were better than they were last year, but fell behind with the big announcements of the Natal and PS motion tracker. Ubisoft has the worst conference though - very boring, and most of the games look like the worst kind of casual shovelware. Only redeeming features were Splinter Cell Conviction and Assassin's Creed 2, but even those couldn't save Ubisofts show

If we are going strictly by games SONY won hands down. I do think Microsofts actual presentation was the most entertaining. Alan Wake and Splinter Cell were both looking awesome but nowhere near GOW3 or Uncharted 2 in my opinion. The motion controls for both Sony and Microsoft were really lame. The realtime demo for both was actually embarrasing to watch.Fanboys listen up! The video of the girl driving in her living room was not realtime nor was the kid fighting that was a commercial.

Last I saw most media outlets were leaning in favour of MS. GS live feed described MS as winning "hands down", which I don't see as true. For me MS did edge it just.

Isnt Assasin's Creed 2 Multiplat? If so then you should add Modern Warfare 2 to the MS line of what they showed. They didn't demonstrate Project Natal in real time? What about that crazy girl playing the 'dodgball' brick break game? Or Kudos avatar? Or the painting mini game? I think you fail.

Seems Gamepro and possbily Gamespot are more were more impressed with MS over Sony.

"CNET conducted a poll earlier this week asking readers which company--Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony--had the most impressive announcements at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

More than 10,000 people responded. More than 51.9 percent of the respondents said Microsoft bested its competitors. Thirty-four percent of those who answered the poll said Sony had the best announcements. Nintendo finished last, with just 5.6 percent of respondents saying it had the best E3. Ironically, the fourth option--"None of them--they were all yawners"--beat out Nintendo, with 8.4 percent of the vote."

However this is opposite land called System Wars. I'm expecting Sony because these are more Cows here to sway that impression.

an IGN editor tried it out and it works just like the "demonstrations" showed.

agreed that to me is what makes a winner with E3. I said the same thing last year. It would be the company that has the best new announcements. Not the one which goes over games we already knew about even if it is new video.

ok my bad I thought Final Fantasy was going to PC as well.

Anyway you didn't mention exclusivity you said "Stuff"

From the looks of it Sony doesn't have enough exclusives over MS's to turn the tide of sway the majority impression that MS took the show,
