Yes I would buy the game. MGS3's graphics are extremely nice. Sure they aren't PS3-quality but that's fine, still looks nice plus I want to see what happens at the end of the saga.
So it's kind of like if it was coming to the PS2 instead of the PS3. It would be disappointing but I would get it, especially to experience the story and characters.
I wouldn't, and I'm the second biggest fan of the game.
The whole purpose of next-gen is to have next-gen games. Also, for me to wait this long for MGS4 and looks like a PS2 game tells me Kojima is slacking.
If it didn't have a step up in graphics, it'll just look like they didn't put any effort into the game. They can improve it vastly, and it can always look better.

It wouldn't... seeing as this is the last MGS game :p but anyway I would definately still buy it. Like other people said I have a wii so graphics aren't THAT important to me... only problem I have is I have to spend $600 or somethin on just 1 game... but it'll be worth it.
Even if it had c___py graphics and a bad review/score, people would still buy it. But in reality, it's going to have fantastic graphics, and it will probably be a 10.0 game, oh YEAH!!!
when are you gonna understand what makes MGS SO GOOD. It's not the graphics, not even the gameplay... it's all about STORY. If you tell me MGS$ is gonna have incredible graphics et a stupid story like hum.... Mario games? Then I will definitely not buy it.
I'm not saying Mario games are bad, Because THESE are just about GAMEPLAY and just need another story where you kill bowser and save the princess...
