Peter Jackson, but I much rather see Michael Bay direct it.

I think Raimi's great, and he did do Robin Hood, so he would be a good choice.

But Peter Jackson is the better choice for a WOW movie.

Going to go with Jackson on this one because the man does some great work and to me Sam Ramai has been trash lately. Drag me to Hell was horrid, the last Spiderman movie was terrible and I never really cared for Evil Dead. He just seems to be riding on his name alot and beyond Spiderman 1 and 2 there isn't really anything I've overly liked of his.

Neither, because there's a new sci-fi director in town. His name is Neil Blomkamp.

I wish people would stop calling it the "WoW" movie. Wouldn't it be more accurate to call it a "Warcraft" movie?

I find peter jackson to do a much better adaption than any diretor out there, or at least, known director since there could be some undiscovered talent that could probably do better job. He's natural with fantasy things.

He is well known and hugely praised because of the cult classic Evil Dead series. :P "This is my boomstick!' "Groovy" "That's S-Mart smart." "Hail to the King, baby!" etc 8) They are working on a script to a 4th movie.

Yea I know about Evil Dead but it never really felt that good to me so I dunno, and since then he hasn't done much that is overly note worthy beyond getting Spiderman 1 and 2 so right then jacking up the 3rd one so badly. I just wouldn't put much stake in what Sam Raimi can do these days.

When peter jackson directs he basically makes a B-movie w/ a larger budget, though he seems to be shaping up to be an excellent producer.

I'd pick Sam Raimi, but under the stipulation that him and Ivan won't have anything to do w/ the writing... and hopefully we won't get another Spiderman 3, or Drag me to Hell.

I looked it up to be sure, I cant find one time Sam Raimi ever did a Robin Hood project.

You thinking of Ridley Scott?

Plus he did Army of Darkness, so he already has the 'undead invasion' thing covered. :P

Niether, making WoW as a movie is a stupid idea.. And its only made to rake in cash of the morons who will buy anything with WoW on it.. There is nothing special about WoW, its the exact same fantasy universe out there with otu going indepth..

It's good to see someone else on the internet that recognizes Jackson isn't a good director. My vote is Raimi.

Yeah you know winner of best director as wella s having a movie win best picture, as well as being nominated on multiple occassions.. So over-rated..

At this point, no one can rip off LotR. They're just ripping off someone who's already ripped off LotR.

i could just imagine a wow movie....a guy just starts on a journey and meets this trainer who tells him that he must save the world, but in order to do so he must be lvl 50. then a 3 hour movie with 5 sequels insues with nothing but boar killing.

but seriously now, peter jackson gets my vote, if he does it right.

Well, neither is Uwe Boll so either is fine.
