[QUOTE="Strider212"][QUOTE="BigJerm1"][QUOTE="gomanthethird"][QUOTE="JPOBS"] what makes you think people will buy the wii for SSBB if they havent already for mario galaxy and/or wii sports?
I dont think SSBB will sell many consoles at all actually.

wait................... :lol:You'll probably ignore this question, but I seriously want to know, because all of your spamming about sales in multiple threads has me baffled.....
Would you seriously rather have the console that sells the most, or have the console with a vastly higher number of quality titles? As a person who, I assume, has purchased a game console, do you really care more about the success of a multi-million dollar corporation than what you get for your gaming dollar? I suspect I already know the answer, but I'd love for you to admit it so you can be blatantly foolish instead of hiding behind your sales numbers and dodging questions that come up in discussions that YOU start.
When will you all understand that sales eventually means quality software will come?
The Wii already has quality software, but it's in ridiculously small numbers. Are you telling me that the Wii's second year will equal that of the 360 in terms of volume of great games? I'd love to see it, but don't delude yourself. Crap 3rd party support = a repeat of the N64 and GCN. A handful of truly amazing games, surrounded by a sea of crap. Sales or no sales.
Let's look at this logically. As a rational businessman, where would you want to release new content? On a console with a small user-base or one with a large user-base? Which will maximize your profits?
Now, that said. The Wii is a new kind of hardware. It is attempting to break through with a new type of input, and thus far, developers are a bit leery of investing money in it. That will change. As long as the console continues to sell well, a few developers will grow enough balls to release good content. When it sells, more developers will jump on the bandwagon and release original content, just like the PS2 and just like the DS. Okami is a good example in that Capcom is actually releasing good games for the Wii. Granted Okami is a port, but if the user-base proves that the content can sell, they will release new content.
