Sandbox, or something. :D
The games today are a bit saturated with the FPS genre.

Im doing some voice work for a Cry engine 2 game that is a cross between rpg/fps, its going to have an amazing story :)
More news on it later.
Im a little excited because ive always wanted to play a game or mod on the cryengine2 that has a rpg feel to it and that actually has a great story!
There already are games thatt are usung CE particulary MMORPGs. But I would like RPGs to use it (RPG graphicsaint going anywhereits time totake a step forward).
That'd be so badass with Mass Effect's design.I would want an WRPG or JRPG done with it. I think that would be epic. Could you imagine Mass Effect on Cryengine 2? or 3?

crysis isnt even a sandbox game, you load a level and it's kinda big you can explore alittle or just do ur mission like other fps in the past. unreal engine 3 would be better suited for sandbox game.Sandbox, or something. :D

i just wondered if the graphics engine could be used/applied in another genre. (does it hurt to wish?)
lol unreal engine? i'd rather all the awesome particle effects, impressive environments, than focus on character models, imo.

Yup the Cryengine is being used to run that new M.O.B with a cell-shaded look, with such a different art **** I see no reason why it can't be used to run any genre of game.
Lol at Unreal Engine also, compared to Cyengine 2, it's dated
Engines have nothing to do with what games are "allowed" to get made, but for some reason everyone that uses the more popular ones always end up pumping out a shooter. I think something like the next grand theft auto using CE3 would be cool.
There's an MMORPG that's using CryENGINE 2.EinhanderkillerOh lord....if WoW is lagging on some upgraded PCs right now (in Dalaran), then imagine the lag with an MMO using cryENGINE2. *Shudders*

Here's some various screens from a WRPG mod WIP called Tales of Dilogus
Over 120,000 LEAVES!!!

Lol Crysis! j/k. It looks great hope the mod is good too.
I'd like to see an open world action/adventure game, not exactly like Uncharted some thing that has bit more of fantasy setting but... what are the odds?
