Online gaming is certainely becoming more prominent. Aren't the latest figures something like 50% of all Xbox 360's are online now? But, it takes more than just online to decide. Mainly, it's about GAMES.

You could say they samething about Nintendo. Just making a game playable online would be emulating Sony and M$. I'm not sure Nintendo plays any role in the online service discussion.
