Whose got a pre-order for next gen?

Got the PS5 all paid off today, waiting for it to be delivered, managed to get another ps4 camera to mod for the VR until the adapter arrives. Haven't picked a next gen game yet but leaning for miles or COD. To bad I'm going away for the weekend for my anniversary, so I can't really play it till the next day I get off which could be 10 days after.

I only got the Series X. PS5 pre-orders was a mess, so I didn't get the chance.

@npiet1: trying still.. keep visiting MS page a few times a day but no luck yet .I can only buy from MS as I want to use gift cards that I have and rewards points I have accumulated, but even if I didn't I have not been able to find them in stock any where

I suspect I might not get it before Christmas and likely land one in the New Year due to availability (which means I will be able so save more points and make the cost to me go down a little bit)

Yeah it was, I has a suspension they would be suddenly announced soon, I got an email a few days before from EBGames telling me how to pre-order without any real info. Then I watched Aussie PS threads like a hawk. One morning in a thread about how pre-orders have started 10 minutes ago. Lucky I had the deposit spare ($200 Aud).

The only place I know of here with them left , is a RSP (Telstra) and you've got to a customer and pay it off monthly for 24 months.

I'm not going to be like that, but as soon as I see a Ps5 and Xbox, I will most likely pick them up. I always act like I'm not going to buy them, then I always do. This time will be no different. (and I want to play the new Halo, and of course Ratchet and clank, and the no man's sky next gen update. So yeah.)

Sure you will enjoy your PS5 when the time comes though. On topic, I've not got any next gen plans at present.

I agree, but you see Sony does this thing where they spend a lot of money to hold games hostage on their platform even tho it's not the best way to play the game. Then they make you pay for online. Sony really really sucks from my perspective. I wish I didn't have two PS5's pre-ordered. I guess I'll just have to sell one at a higher price to some sucker, just for peace of mind against how much Sony sucks.

I pre-ordered a PlayStation 5 and it’s getting delivered on launch day at no extra charge. Thanks to Sony’s pre-order link they sent me I didn’t have to worry about bots/scalpers.

BS Jive preorder canceled after all the negativity was shown to be true and looks like a very gigantic WeakSauce TomurStation along with games being delayed so there's nothing but a BS4 DLC and a BS3 game with new paint for launch. :(

Got my eyes on that too, I want the 3080 but have to wait till after the new year. Missus has told me that if I don't get it buy Feb, she'll get me the 3090. I've told here that I'll hold of any more PC parts after that for the next 5 years (Yeah right lol) unless I go through the hassle of selling it. This is my most spoiled year (also working the most). Gonna be a massive upgrade compared to the 1400 and 1060 I rockin now.

I wanted the ps5 digital as I plan on going full digital this gen. Everywhere sold out within minutes and the game site crashed twice. Next year if GOW is released is my plan.

I have a PS5 ready to be picked up at launch at Gamestop and I'm still looking to get a 2nd one for my kids somehow. I had to stand outside Gamestop for 5-6 hours for an in store pre-order after I missed out online. I'm glad I got there when I did because they only had 5 consoles and I secured #5, they only had 5 of the disc version available and no digital which is strange, but that's what I was going to get anyways no matter what. By the time is was about 2-3 hours before the store opened there were easily over 20 people waiting outside hoping they could still pre-order even though the 5 were already accounted for and by 5 minutes until they opened their doors we had probably waved off at least 50 other people.

Hoping the whole launch day PS5 rumor thing is true, because I'll be refreshing like 5 different websites with my wife around 11pm the night before to try and get one for my kids as well.

I'll grab an XSX as soon as I see one in store.

Still on the fence whether I'll even need to pre-order and games. Might go ahead and pre-order the the $120 version of Valhalla though since that will likely be my first game on the console since I'm not too interested in Spider Man or Demons Souls.

In order to be denied I have to purchase and for it to be rejected. The opportunity never transpired. Unfortunately that has happen to a lot of your fellow Sony fannies. 😥

Just a heads up if you haven't heard, Target and Best Buy are supposedly getting consoles in store on launch day and it is first come first serve when they sell them locally through their website for pick up. Also, Sams Club is supposedly supposed to be first come first serve in store. Unless something changes I plan to camp Sams a few hours early on launch day and hope for the best while also refreshing the store pages at Target, Best Buy, and Walmart. Hopefully one will pan out.

Got a PS5 pre-order in, expecting to have it next year, keeping my eye on those RTX 3080 GPUs too. Rest of this year is going to be lame when it comes to gaming.

Nah, bought a RTX 2080 a year or so ago, I'm good for the next five or so years.

I'll wait til the 4xxx series or whatever Nvidia comes out with is released. Going to skip the 3xxx series. Although AMD looks like they might be catching up.

Pretty sure electronics are manufactured in a borderline-sterile environment.

Either way, the thing probably spent weeks in storage, then on a boat, then in storage again, then on a truck.
