Why 2018 is the Year You Should Finally Buy Vita according to this guy
I'm not exactly sure whether the writer is joking or not, though he can't be serious with recommending Freedom Wars.
Must be a joke.
Well, it's playstationenthusiast. Payed by Sony.
You mean Sony invests in Vita? lol
Nah, this is something much more sinister, this some religious cult shit.
Yeah doesn't seem to be a sponsored website. At least fanboys in SW are interested in some objective components of the "truth" and know that these sources are as credible as the graffiti in a bathroom stall.

Hardly. Quite a few cultists here too. I'm bashed for being one.

I spoke too soon. You're the guy insisting that a handful of inferior ports on the PC is somehow more relevant than the fact that since 2002 every Nintendo console has been Shitty Port Central. What a circus act.
Reasons to buy a Vita:
no not really. nothing interest me enough to buy vita.
It has FPS... you love FPS :P
not every FPS. for example i hate COD, battlefield, wolfenstein, far cry etc
I got mine last month, and I really wish I got one sooner. The 3DS is great and all, but this is more my kind of handheld. I love it.
In all due seriousness, it's a great time to buy a Vita. It's always a great time to buy a machine that's been out six years because that's a lot of time for its library to build up. There's tons of great games for that machine. And I still think it's the sexiest handheld every made.
haven't dusted my Vita off in quite some time. Still not sure if I want to play the Persona Dancing games and new Catherine on it, or my PS4.
I just got into (or rather, I am almost finished beating) Persona 5.
I almost want to pick up the cheapest used Vita 1000 model I can find just to play Persona 4 golden now, if that game doesnt get ported.
Im not going to do that, mind you, but goddamn that game lit a fire under my ass to do so.

Of course, it´s a joke.
There is no reason to buy a VITA ever.
I hate handhelds, really, but I can see the attraction for a long plane flight or car journey and considered a Vita for such an event but just never bothered.
If I was to revisit this scenario now I'd say 2018 is the year I realised I should buy a Switch lol. I probably won't do that either, but I might, always wanted to play the Xenoblade games.
...Look, I'm not saying that the Vita was a bad system.
I'm just saying that it had like only five games. Ever. Everything else worthwhile you can get on PS3 or PS4.
It has Wipeout...I love Wipeout. But I don't leave my house long enough to need another hand held.
You can play Wipeout on PS4 now.
Turned on my vita the other day whilst ill in bed. Looked at the games and thought I was not in the mood to play any of them but tried Sine Mora.. This game is corrupt. Ok so let's try wipeout. This game is corrupt. Velocity 2X? This game is corrupt..
Gave up in the end.
Just tried again. Almost every game I have won't play. Some of them almost get to gameplay but then an error occurs. How annoying.

Sounds like a memory card problem. It happens when the memory card ejects or is subjected to some sort of external pressure that's enough to temporarily disconnect it from the console. Try turning off Vita entirely, take the memory card out, insert it back in, and restart Vita. I get that kind of error a lot when I drop the thing, but this usually fixes it.

It would be a great time to get one for cheap. But they still want $199 for it. That is crazy to me, I got bundle for like $179 5 years ago.
It's kind of like the "new" 3DS XL being $199 now, when it was $149 for a 3DS XL like 5 years ago as well.
Both these handhelds should have been $99 or less at this point.
