Why all are the Fanboys bashing Brawl?

I've seen countless threads posted today where a bunch of fanboys(mostly cows) are bashing brawl for the most ridiculous reasons. Too all you cows, when was the last time PS3 exclusive had a game that got a 9.5??? That's what I thought, never! You have nothing on brawl and this game is going to further stratify the Wii above the rest of the competition.

And to any Lemmings that have been bashing brawl, you should talk, the 360 hasn't had a decent fighter. . . .ever!

I should have also mentioned that I've been seeing most of these fanboy comments on the pro-brawl threads you are referring to. But still, lots of anti-brawl threads.

I am not even going to bother explaining this to you. You are just another fanboy who has some problem with of the best games this gen.

It's a great game, no doubt, but I can see why people are bashing it.

First is that the graphics haven't improved much at all. Maybe a few nicer particle effects but not much else. Second is the lack of Wiimote use... a gamecube controller is exactly the same and therefore this isn't (or doesn't have to be) a Wii game. Third is the same combat/moves. The new controls are nice, but otherwise this is just a repeat of Melee with new characters, maps, online, and a cheesy level editor.

^ To above post, I'm pretty sure he knows what you mean, and by saying "you are just another fanboy who has some problem with of the best games this gen" you pretty much just proved his point that you can't accept other people's valid opinions...

Sad..no, wait..that's actually pretty funny, but true.

It is a good game, but I don't understand the hype surrounding it. It is a fighting game and great party game. The single player sucks and the on-line portion is a joke compared to what I have played over PSN, XBL and my PC. I can only guess that it has to do with the fact it is on the Wii, which spits out more trash than greatness so when a game like this does come along the hype meter breaks from the excitement. :?

I would probably agree with you on controls, but not with graphics. The graphics for Brawl are a huge improvement over Melee. I suggest you go play Melee again (Last time I played it was yesterday and the graphics were a huge disappointment), but Brawl looks amazing. The backgrounds are beautiful and the characters look really good.

Video games are not a worldview. You do not play video games over 8 hour periods.

It is a fun game, but you shouldnt spend your entire day playing or talking about it.
