why are console gamers happy with bad graphics?

Many games are not even 720 and some dont even have aa in them. How can you guys be okay with 800x600 graphics? I hear some console gamers wanting the next gen to start in 2015!

Ummm. Show examples of bad graphics. Not being top notch doesn't mean they're bad either.

They're not bad graphics. Not the best - but far from bad.

While I wouldn't call consoles graphics "bad", I do agree on the point that it's just silly to not want a next gen. personally I can't wait for new system, the actual consoles show how they aged and since technology advanced a lot in the past years, I want my next gen systems ^^

Sadly they wont take advantage till the next gen of consoles. All tessellation does is add depth to textures with little impact on the gpu .

DKCR on Wii is only 480p and I think it looks pretty damn amazing.
