I watch it since the day it was announced at the sony event and I never understood the hype. It looks like a flash mini game but with amazing graphics but thats all. I cant see myself playing hours at watching characters physics.

My friend bought a PS3 just for this game alone.

To answer your question I really don't know what to tell you. LBP looks and sounds like a lot of fun. Simple as that.

Watch some videos of building in LBP on youtube or something... It's like a fully distructible invorment physics engine except you're using that ability to build... Like you can make any shape you want no matter how big, and then play a decent platforming game with what you've made..

Building your own world in the game has it's appeal. Plus to share that world with the online community is a real treat. It's a very good online game.

He said the reason for hype was its exclusiveness. Since when exclusive mean good? Barbie was exclusive to the PS2 and Lair on of the biggest flop in history was exclusive on PS3. So yeah i was being sarcastic.

I remember Reggie saying that this is the one PS3 game that he wished was for Wii. As a PS3 owner I could care less about this game. Its just not the type of game that would interest me. It's just something new and different from what I've seen from Sony. The ability to create your own levels with great graphics and physics are pretty appealing to me. And you may be totally right and it may turn out to be a mediocre game or Lair. But from what I've seen it just looks like a lot of fun with the ability create almost anything you want.

But what I'm looking forward to in LBP is that it actually looks fun to build and play with the finished product.. Garry's Mod is mostly just fun after you've done the building.
