Well textures arnt something they work on a lot early in the development cycle. Thats why MGS 4 looked AMAZING but had meh textures. Killzone looks STUNNING but like every other game it needs time to truley show off what it cand do.
I'm not using it as an excuse. I'm saying that it looks this freakin' good, and it's still not finished. How good could it look come release!?! The possibilities man!

I think pre-alpha means that they still have some work to do, i assume that the game will even look better once they improve the textures and what not.
overall the game looks extremely good, much better than gears imo, exept for the textures, which still look pretty darn close.

Do we actually know what stage of development the game is in?, I remember the devs were saying pre, pre alpha but that was a response to the first screenshot that was leaked.
Anyone can see this is pre-alpha and the impressions on every site wrote it, if you have eyes and mind you will figure it out,go and see the trailer, it has somethings missing and it is obvious.I am not pro but I can see it.

"pre alpha" is the hot word to use in the game industry today to hide the truth. The only stuff that I've seen that was pre alpha were the halo 3 videos from the documentaries when textures were either one solid color or completely missing, THAT'S pre alpha, nothing but a barely there working build, when you have all these textures lighting, and particles going, just pony up, say it's the beta, and admit the graphics aren't going to get much better. "But, Lair is only pre alpha" "But burnout is only pre alpha" "But killzone is only pre alpha" no, its not. WHAT THE HELL DOES PRE ALPHA EVEN MEAN!? Alpha testing is supposed to be when the game is first playable, WHAT IS THIS PRE!?!

LMAO! Called out son! But seriously im using no excuses because KZ2 doesnt need any excuses. One of the best looking trailors ive ever witnessed.
Yeah Killzone only looks better than everything that has ever come out or is even announce to come out on xbox360 in the 2 and 1/2 it has been on the market...talk about low ballin. Cow are pathetic:P lol.
