Why are Infinity Ward screwing over PC gamers so bad?

Seriously? What's up with that? Forget the ridiculous retail they're charging in the EU, what the hell is up with the lack of dedicated servers etc.?

They think PC gamers don't pay for software, and don't want customization.

Anyone else find it the slightest bit ironic that consoles themselves are headed the way of the PC with the hard drives, and online play and internet browsing and whatnot, while the games themselves are becoming consolized beyond belief??

Come on, it's not that hard to pick a server without mods and less than 12 players.

I am not a 2 year old that has to be carefully lead around and shown how to play.

Also, um DUH? No one uses mods in a "legitimate game." Mods are for custom games. Where did you get the idea that it was any different??

map-packs on COD5 brought in around 70 million dollars in revenue on consoles only. they do this to make sure pc-gamers will have to pay for those aswell.

oh, and IWnet is to make the games less pirated.

and a itsy-bitsy tiny thing might be beacuse they think it's a better this way, i mean, it is true it will be easier to find games, especially for newcomers.

They don't like the 2,5-3 million units that COD 4 sold in PC; instead they want to sell 100.000 units of MW 2 to PC players and those players buying 50 million of DLC maps.

In a more serious way: they want good sales in PC with the control to force to buy any map/stuff from DLCs. Sadly after 2 years of developement they came to the conclusion that porting the 360 version was the only way to reach his objectives. Of course, they will have now abysmal sales in PC + low DLC purchases + no communities or clan support. So, dead end to the franchise in the PC. Congrats Kotick, you win nothing!

I know its a crazy thought.. But maybe to try and convince people to buy it on consoles instead? Idk cause they cost 10$ more? I know it doesn't make much sense but neither does anything else they have been doing lately

it just came out.. so lets give it time... also i cant prove that a high percentage of 360 players will pirate the game..same with pc.. one cant prove that a high percentage of pc gamers pirated cod 4 when compared to legit buyers
