Why are Kinect games graphics looking better than the controller stuff?

Seriously. Among the newer games lately I have played Bodycount, Driver SF, Deus Ex, ICO Collection, Brink, Forza 4, Gears 3, N4S Hot Pursuit, and Portal 2. And I can honestly say aside from Forza 4 and Gears 3 Sesame Street, Kinectimals, and Gunstringer look better than them all. The graphics and animation is fantastic in all 3 of the games and it is nice going back to the cartoon look for a change. I was actually havinf trouble playing Driver SF and Deus Ex yesterday because of the bland graphics of Driver and the piss yellow of Deus EX.I just took them back to Redbox. I wanted to give my girl extra playing time just so I could watch the animation and see the fur-shading some more. Plus seeing her having so much fun made it even better. I really hope Microsoft buys Double Fine....and maybe Crytek for me.

less input, less going on, environments are geared for the basic mechanics of kinect (usually Kinect games are far more limiting so theres naturally less going on) which means more than likely you can push more as the processor doesnt handle as much as forza where theres a lot of under the hood physics,ai and input calculations.

Gunstringer does look that good

Kinectimals looks stunning though, too bad is not a core game

Other games have a lot more going on than kinect games, which are most of the time an on rails experience.

There's far less to a Kinect game.

I hope MS does buy Double Fine though. I hate to admit it but I watched the video of their new Kinect party game and it looks good. They're a great dev.

After playing and watching some of these games it has made me realize that realistic is not always better. Kinectimals is just ridiculous.

Even small indie devs have better looking games.

they are newer games and as PM said the 360 potential still hasn't been met.
