I'd be really carefull on calling out this game as a flop...

It seems to have gone through a rough develpoment, but the fact that the devs are in such a uproar about it shows how much they care about the product.

Silicon Knights have NEVER made a poor game, as a matter of fact, that have always put out really cutting edge material, with fantasic storys, and great gameplay.... check out Legacy of Kain on the PS1 or PC.. thats a true classic.... (shout out to anyone who remembers Kain's voice over for the "Flay" skill:P )

You never know how good a game is untill it comes out, but, like I said... it would be foolish to discount this one.

Man I own a 360 but from what ive seen from too human, I dont see what all the hype is aswell about this game. Seems like when lemmings hype a game here in gamespot, gamespot seems to agree and give it high scores, lol. the gameplay was crap because of the garbage ps controller and glitches that are caused by flopstation 3..

the 360 has the best controller in the industry and if u havnt noticed the best games.

Because ever since I joined this site, I use to be fair with everything but then once I owned a ps3, it sucks man when u are enjoying games from the ps3 and u have this forum ran by lemmings and they do nuttin but talk down on games I enjoy on the ps3. And u my friend obviously dont own a ps3. U say the ps3 controller is crap when u dont even own a ps3. Too Human is a third-person action adventure role playing game mixing elements of games like Devil May Cry and Diablo. It features twitch gameplay in the form of fast paced melee and ranged combat while also maintaining deep RPG elements including skill tree progression and dungeon crawling.

As a third-person action adventure game, Too Human features two innovations which are melee combat being controlled dynamically off the right analogue stick and a camera system that is controlled by AI. The right analogue stick controlled combat removes the issues of three dimensional depth perception during combat while the AI controlled camera system allows for a truly cinematic experience while also being an aide to the story telling.

The RPG elements of Too Human include its deep yet linear story, different selectable classes, customizable weapons, armor and cybernetics, skill tree progression and item hunting. Too Human has 15 weapon classes, including two-handed swords, hammers, polearms, pistols, rifles, lasers, and dual wielded one-handed swords and staves. The character is able to customize their armor in terms of color and its effectiveness against certain forms of attacks while also being able to swap armor sets. This game features skill trees unique to all the various classes that can be customized to the player's liking, this combined with the fact that it also includes item hunting like Diablo greatly increases the replayability of Too Human. As part of a trilogy this game features a unique leveling system which allows the player to progress from level 1 to 50 in the first game then while in the second game the character progresses from level 50-100 and in the third the character levels from 100-150.

Too Human will feature online play similar to Phantasy Star Online which will allow up to four players to connect over Xbox Live for cooperative play. This includes a drop in/out system so people can join you no matter where you or they are up to in the game. It is expected that co-op players will be able to take advantage of class combinations to defeat difficult enemies and gather rare items.

Watch the interviews and read up on the game and you will understand why it's being hyped.

Too Human is made by an awesome company who know how to make a great mix of gameplay and storytelling. Many people have loved their previous games, so the hype for their next game is entirely justified.

Same can be said about Factor 5 but we all seen how Lair turned out,so with that being said you just never know.

I'd take a new IP like Too Human over the big franchises (Halo, FF, Mario) anyday.

I swear most people have no clue what this game is about or what its trying to do. For me, I have high hopes for this game to become a fresh new Online RPG.

Also, the new KUF looks very cool also.

I'm a lemming, but I can admit ratchet and clank is a good game. AAA, maybe, but it definitely deserve an 8.5. Resistance to me sucked. I thought it was boring and I think Gears of War runs laps around it. Resistance does have better online, but overall, gears of war is MUCH better. This has always confused me, if you look in the dictionary for the word "mediocre" you will see a screenshot from Too Human.

Too Human will be 360's Lair, minus the good soundtrack.

Man I own a 360 but from what ive seen from too human, I dont see what all the hype is aswell about this game. Seems like when lemmings hype a game here in gamespot, gamespot seems to agree and give it high scores, lol. I dont know what to say about Too Human but seriously its funny how they make such a big deal about Too Human but when cows bring up Uncharted, they seem to low blow it like Uncharted doesnt look that great where really in reality, Uncharted looks alot more appealing to me and worth my money then Too Human. And I agree with the TC, Too Human might be the next Lair for the xbox 360, lol. Great graphics but lousy gameplay.

How does a console make a game.
Anyway, I see a few cool games on ps3 R&C I would probally like, I hated gladiator, but Im a huge fan of the others. Other than that and kz2 I don't really see any games that jump out and scream "BUY ME YOU RAT BASTARD" . ME, Too Human, Crysis, SMG, SSBB and the like do however make me wish I could get a pay rise.

Usually I dog on the PS3 fanbase but I have to say I enjoyed Killzone a lot and I have high hopes for kz2.

Anyway I guess that's the reason, Too Human just has that BUY ME, NEGLECT YOUR LOVE ONES AND WASTE AWAY ON A DIET OF DRUGS ALCOHOL AND FAST FOOD factor, and that's whats generating the hype.

I don't understand it either. I'm sure Too Human could turn out to be good, but what with all the problems it's had in development and some of the less than brilliant videos from the game I've seen thus far, I'd prefer not to raise my hopes.

Better to be pessimistic and surprised than optimistic and disappointed.
