Seriously, they get the best graphics, but at a large price and mouse and keyboard kicks a controllers butt for shooters. Do they really need to spend thier time arguing with console gamers? I love consoles but nothing beats mouse and key. I just don't have the money to blow on a new vid card every year so I can play the latest games.

I seem to remember endless threads about how PC gaming was and is dying, now its not fair because its still alive and better than console gaming (according to reviews)? TRY HARDER CONSOLES! :P

Gamespot doesn't even give the PC as much coverage as systems like the PSP. I think PC gamers dont come to System Wars that often.. but when we see silly comments like "PC GAMIGN IS TEH DEAD!!!!" and "THIS CONSOLE GAME HAS BETTER TECHNICAL GRAPHICS THEN CRYSIS DOES" then sometimes we gotta come and say our peice :P
Im a pc gamer and console gamer, and I find the pc community to be the most mature and best community. Been gamign for 24 years on consoles and computers and i enjoy them both.
Another thing is when people say "Keyboard and Mouse sucks! Controller is way better! So consoles pwn pcs!". Well... on a gamign pc you can use any controller (I have a xbox360 and a ps2 controller, plus some cheap one to go along with my keyboard and mouse), so PC gaming can really do anythign you want it to do as far as controls go. Prefer controllers? Then you can use a controller fo rpc gaming. Prefer a mouse and keyboard? Then use that!

The pc section on gamespot forums has a FANTASTIC community. As a neutral gamer who plays on console and pc the same amount, the pc Forum on gamespot is the best one imo and the most mature.
I really dont understand how you can say if you wanted good discusssions about pc gaming then why are you at gamespot forums. There are some great people to chat with in the pc section here.
Gamespot's coverage is more for consoles but that doesnt mean the forum cant have a great pc community.

to prove superiority? why not? most people ignore pc gamers anyway so the net effect is the same i guess
